This is a great, quiet space for remote work. There is a lot of seating with a variety of seat styles. The music is low and not overbearing. My one suggestion is to avoid looking around too intensely if you're a stickler for cleanliness. The dust and grime buildup is really bad. I desperately wish they would dust the place.
For years I have been coming to this place and I have seen it become more and more geared towards bohemian bourgeois, who have a false sense of being environmentally conscious. In reality, though they host a semi organic market sponsored by the Audubon district, Stardust has nothing organic about its practices: they don't recycle, don't use organic food, and for the past few years, they have been overcharging for mediocre food and their absence of service, in the name of remaining pseudo-Cool. Sadly, I will not go back and neither should you. Oh, and their wifi is always unreliable.
By far the coolest cafe I've ever worked remotely from, if you want more details some of the other reviews nailed it.
Amazing everything! Always our first stop in Orlando
Unique place but the cashier/server/bartender was unwelcoming and flat out rude. Wouldn't go back.
The atmosphere / decor is cool, but that’s all this place has going for it. A lot of people working / studying, so it’s definitely a relaxed vibe. We ordered and was stared down blankly by our cashier, while asking a few questions about the menu. I was told stardust is famous for having terrible customer service and it shows. If a restaurant has “snob” factor, you expect for the food to be good to compensate for it. While we waited a very long time for our meals, we received a salad and chili. Salad was pretty good, hard to mess up a salad. The chili came with too many chips, served at room temperature, and was basically rice and beans. I love rice and beans, but that isn’t what we ordered. It felt like they opened up a box of Uncle Ben’s jambalaya. So if you’re going to come, come for the coffee and open up your laptop. Go elsewhere for food. We won’t be coming back.
Cool creative vibe. Quiet enough to work but also inspire.
Lovely cafe/bar situation, definitely a more punk rock vibe than anything, really cool aesthetic. Great place to come study or read a book or just chill. Service was really good, we got our tea and coffee pretty immediately, food took a second to get out as in pretty sure they only have one person in the kitchen, but despite the wait it was delicious.
This place is cool to check out small artists/bands but the staff is known for being rude all across Orlando. The coffee is okay and mainly people go for shows and doing homework.
It’s a shame because this place really is such a nice cozy little spot with great food and a nice atmosphere. The bars alright too. The staff however just gives off the most horrendous vibes. Almost as if you’re bothering them by asking for service. bakery is solid too 10/10.
Very amazing atmosphere! Love the decor and vibe. Delicious coffee!
Really cool atmosphere, a nice drink selection, good music, I only wish the bathroom wasn't as putrid as it was.
The place was really cute, the food was okay but the service was terrible. The barista ( blonde lady, I think she had glasses) was really rude and made me feel like I was not welcomed. Terrible experience.
Got drinks only bartender was great. Nice place to chill, study or just grab a drink. Update: every Fri/ Sat they have amateur bands come out an play. If you check their website's event calendar some nights they have karaoke too.
Food was surprisingly good. Great sandwiches. Cool vibe. I'm a little old for the demographic but my nephews band was playing. I would definitely come back
The place is certainly a feast for the eyes. The walls are covered in art and embroidery and photographs. And there is ample space. But the menu was confusing (for the girls standing behind me in line anyway) and the staff was not helpful. I asked for maple chai, and the barista said they didn’t have it, didn’t explain further or offer something similar I might like. I ended up with something chai made from a concentrate that I dumped most out. Also, I could eventually connect to, but couldn’t get use out of the internet. Overall, the place has a good concept but execution is weak.
Stardust is a very eclectic place. You never know what you'll encounter. Daytime atmosphere is completely different from the after 5 crowd. The food is excellent. The plates are definitely shareables.
Place is amazing, quiet, great coffee and great food but their wifi is terrible. Cool coffee shop but hard to get work done. Please get better wifi i’m begging you.
Alright I don’t leave reviews unless really necessary. This one was and I’m only giving 2 stars it’s because my first experience which was like 4 years ago was good but tonight it was horrible. Whoever mentioned that the chicken is not edible was absolutely right, I forced myself to eat half cuz I was starving (hopefully I don’t get sick) and this was the most popular sandwich recommendation. Idk how any sober person can eat this, please improve your menu and don’t feed people this. Thanks
Dark atmosphere and interesting clientele. The audibon park farmers market is held in its parking lot. It's an interesting place.
