Very good home made Gelato.
I visited yesterday and tried the lemon and grapefruit gelato. The owner uses fresh organic fruit and it tastes awesome 👌 😋. I ate a medium size there and we talked some more about his product and the origins. Just the way I remember Italian Gelato from Europe. Magnifique, lecker, delicious 😋.
Hubby & I just found this gem! Small but clean, quaint and welcoming. They make the best homemade gelato. We had the amaretto and it was to die for. They have many flavors to choose from. They also have homemade sfogliatella (lobster tail) cookies that are exceptional as well as homemade cheesecake slices and tiramisu. Comfortable seating to enjoy your gelato or pastry & coffees. What are you waiting for? Go try some gelato and pastry today you will be so happy you did. Will definitely be one of our regular spots.
Delicious desserts and friendly service
This is a pastry shop, mostly Italian pastry, the best Cannolis, freshly made when you order. Large orders better to order ahead. The pastries they have are excellent,he doesn't have the selection of big shops. I promise what he has is excellent. The people are good hard working folk, stop by say hello and have a delicious day at La Dolce Vita Gelato...he must have every flavor of Gelato.Delish....
This place is fantastic!! It is a small, family owned shop. They have several flavors of gelato along with pastry desserts. They also have some coffee products. It is in the jasmine square plaza. I would definitely visit again if I was in the area, whether we ate there or took it to go. I did bring a cannoli home to my wife and she was not disappointed.
Holy moly. As a self proclaimed ice cream expert, the variety of unique flavors and the quality and taste were top notch. I would drive back from Miami to have pink grapefruit again. Was too full for cake and I almost succumbed.
This place certainly lives up to its high reviews! Fresh gelato made in house. Had some pretty terrific flavors. I settled on ginger snap and my wife got 1/2 extra dark black chocolate and 1/2 mango, both of us were happy with our choices. Staff was super friendly and more than willing to give samples and recommendations. Will be back!
What a joy to visit, my little slice of heaven. Family owned and operated. Friendly, clean and in a great location. The Tiramisu is my absolute favorite. My boys love the cheesecake. U cannot help but feel happy when u leave. Great place.

Good place and kind people serving best coffee
Went there a few days ago for the first time and was very impressed with the desserts....I have to go back to try the gelato....their cakes are far better than Publix, Walmart,Sam's club or any bakery around. Great job 👍
Everything here is homemade with fresh, organic ingredients and you can taste the difference! There are so many different kinds of cakes to choose from. We got the Lemoncello Mascarpone Slice, Cassata Slice, and Basque Cheesecake. The Lemoncello Mascarpone Slice is so delicious! The vanilla cake is soft and moist! The limoncello mascarpone is delectable! The gelato flavors are very unique and you can taste the freshness of the fruit. We tried the Pink Grapefruit, Guava, and Wild Berries. So good! The owners are very nice and kind people.
I've been living in Ocala for 2 years and I just found this place..the pastries are out of this world and the Gelato is amazing this is a real Italian bakery whenever you're in Ocala this is a must try you won't be upset..the napoleon,cannoli and vesuvius cheesecake are amazing I will definitely be going back
Stopped at La Dolce Vita once for coffee while visiting Ocala. The owner really knows espresso and it shows. The espresso was amazing, better that most every coffee shop I've visited in the US and abroad. My family also got gelato which was equally amazing. I don't often visit Ocala but I plan to stop at La Dolce Vita any time I pass through Ocala on my way to Gainesville. Next time I go I can't wait to try the Affogato (espresso and gelato), what could be better than the best espresso and gelato together!!
This is definitely a must for everyone not just for Italian people...this is the real deal..I'll be getting my desserts here from now on ...this is a great place for Italian desserts...the owners are very nice people and very friendly...this is a must try place..it deserves 10 stars
Charming little place to come and get some dessert. I always feel guilty about getting samples of ice cream or gelato but am very glad I tried some first. My first choice was way too sweet for me. And what I thought sounded good just didn't taste how I thought it would. 😅 Don't get me wrong, they weren't bad, my taste buds are just finicky. Pistachio hit the spot 🎯 The ice cream server behind the counter was very kind.
Best gelato, and the owners are great!
My family visited this fabulous cafe on Sunday of President's Day weekend. The coffee was the most outstanding we have had anywhere in the United States, and we travel frequently both within the US and in europe. It also equaled that which we have had in Europe. So I guess I'm saying, we have not had better coffee anywhere! The gelato is equally outstanding. The four of us sampled several different flavors. My kids got the coconut, lemon, and we got the cannoli flavored gelato. This was a first for me and it was absolutely amazing. The owner of the shop is so welcoming, professional, kind, and makes everything with great care. You should definitely go out of your way to try this shop. It is a bit off the beaten path, but once you step inside you will be delighted by the experience.
