The Literal BEST place to get Coffee or in my case espresso never had coffee that healed my soul like this cappuccino, calusa never fails to deliver. Don't waste your money on Starbucks and Dunkin because they will inevitably make you're coffee wrong anyway.
Both the pour over and vegan banana walnut bread were outstanding. If you are a coffee lover this is the spot for you. It’s next-level quality coffee. The service was great and the back patio is a relaxing spot to enjoy a cup. I’ll be back :)
All coffee is superb. Wide range of single origin beans. Cold brew that really wakes you up. Espresso that is delightful. And for a decadent day, the iced latte with house-made caramel is heavenly.
Great little coffee shop. Luis is very friendly and funny and makes AMAZING coffee. 11/10.
The best roaster and coffee shop in the area.
Best coffee in the area and the owner is very friendly. Impressive place
Awesome place for a brew and great backyard seating with a fireplace. 10/10
If I could be friends with a cafe, this would be it. Calusa has a great chill home-y vibe with kind owners cultivating relationships with regular customers. This place is great for the serious coffee aficionado. The atmosphere reminds me of the Broward I grew up with when there were still more trees, less apartments and more cows around. There is plenty of shaded outdoor seating and cozy indoor seating. If indoors, you get to see where they roast their coffee. The food and coffee menu isn't extensive: it's a no-frills place that's serious about the coffee quality instead of making unicorn double-stuffed popping pearl lattes. And the food menu is small but everything I've tried has been excellent. I've had their cheese danish, banana bread, vegan empanadas, quiche and croissants. I've bought beans from them quite often too. The quality and the down-to-earth service keeps me and a lot of other people returning often. I truly love this place and every chance I get, I bring friends, family and my dog to hang out under the trees.
Very good coffe an service :-)
It's possible they have the best cappuccino in Florida. This is coming from a Berkeley California coffee aficionado. Great tea too. They use quality beans which they roast onsite. There's nice outdoor seating and it's a very social place we met some new friends there.
Nice coffee spot. Banana bread was great
I had Calusa coffee today and it changed my life, truly the BEST coffee I’ve ever had! It’s a cup of coffee that lets coffee be… coffee! It’s the first time I’ve had coffee where I was able to taste the notes of all the flavors the bean has. There was no burnt flavor, which unfortunately, I’ve found to be very common at many cafes. Plus, the cafe is owned by a beautiful couple, Luis & Maria, who are super personable, and from the short time that I was in the cafe - I noticed they have many repeat customers, whom they know on a personal level. The cafe itself is so cute and gives off a homey vibe. This may have been my first visit, but definitely won’t be my last. If you love a great cup of Java, give them a try 🤩
Great coffee, awesome atmosphere, and great staff!!
We stopped in this cafe on our way to NC from Miami and were blown away by how good the coffee and empanadas are! Definitely worth stopping by or even going a little out of the way! Bonus: the empanadas are vegan but you would never know!
It is a very cosy coffee shopping and have delicious coffee from all over the world and one of my favorites are the Brazilian and Kenyan beans.and the owners are super friendly, they make everyone feel at home
My fiancé and I drink way too much coffee, and this coffee was some of the best we’ve had!!! I can’t stress how great the flavor was. Super clean, cute place & the customer service was flawless. Very pleased! Thanks again.
Some of the best coffee I have had. Always consistent. True coffee lovers spot.
Huge fan. New Yorker here and currently a digital nomad. After visiting 7+ cafes in the area, I can say this is hands down my #1, for the following reasons: - Amazing hospitality, this alone would bring me back - Coffee is roasted in-house and delicious - They also have chaga!! No one carries chaga so I was impressed. Perfect if you’re trying to lower your caffeine intake - Multiple indoor and outdoor seating options - Covered patio with a beautiful breeze so you stay cool working outside - Good WiFi & outlets available - Very clean bathroom
Very friendly local roaster. Excellent coffee drinks and fresh roasted beans. Truly enjoyed visiting while on vacation.
Luis and Maria serve up the best local coffee. Beans are roasted in house, They typically have local or home made vegan/vegetarian options like empanadas and quiche. If I could give.this place more stars I would.
