Recently when I went into village coffee pot Alex made me a cafe con leche and poured cold milk into the cup ruining my hot Mexican drink. She also gave little attention to what I had to say and had her headphones in throughout the whole time
I love this place, the employee's are always so friendly and helpful. I come here often and Crystain and Kaitlyn make the best coffee ever and are always so nice to me and my wife when we come in the place. It is so nice to have a place that you can go and feel welcome. If I have one negative comment about this place it is that when you use a credit card you can not leave a tip. So please bring a little cash to give these hard working girls a tip.
LOUDLY WAS VARY NICE, ATTENTIVE AND MADE THE BEST CHICKEN SALAD MY WIFE AND I HAVE EVER TASTED.
First time coming here, I decided to get an iced coffee. I told one of the ladies that I wasn't picky and I would take any iced coffee that she desired but I requested any favor & whipped creamed with it. She asked if I wanted any particular flavor, I stated yes. she gave me a cup of black coffee with ice and what tasted like 6x teaspoons of sugar. I attempted to mix the drink multiple times and all that came through my straw was sugar, sugar and even more sugar. I don't recommend this place, stick to your local 'Chelsea Coffee Company' in Ocala FL, worth the drive.
Great staff! Very Friendly and helpfully! It is nice to see local businesses with smiles! I look forward to stopping by for a coffee on my next trip through Mt. Dora!
A buddy of mine and I took our kids to see the lights and Christmas tree in downtown Mount Dora. We are locals and our kids range from 3-7 years old. They of course love ice cream and they really loved it here. The best part was the staff! With the holiday craziness, the two teenagers at the counter were still patient and friendly with the kids. It was one of my best interactions with young service staff in a long time. Great small business, great staff, great product!
We enjoyed our coffee and coffee cake this morning with nice comfortable weather sitting at one of the tables outside. We stopped by here a few months ago on our anniversary and we met Chrystal who was very sweet and we’re sorry we missed her this time. But it did give us a chance to meet the owner.

This is my husband’s favorite spot to stop for coffee or a pastry on his bicycle route with his friends! Coffee is great and the owner is awesome. Highly recommend this very quaint spot in Mt Dora!

The very pleasant coffee shop and sandwiches, ice cream and gelato etc..Very friendly staff. Most locals stop by for coffee and some tidbits. Indoor and outdoor seating. Owner Ahktar is usually on premises. Great location to people watch; many locals gather for a chat during the week with day trippers on the weekend. Great coffee and great prices. Since 1997. The Building is from 1909. Give it a try, you'll thank this reviewer.
I come here almost weekly for my cafè con leche. Octar is always ready for a conversation and remembers his customers. Great cup of coffee and a really decent spot to grab a window seat and do some morning time people-watching.

Ice cream is always fresh and tasty. The inside is a great place to cool off when it gets sweltering outside, the AC is blasting! Highly recommend if your looking to cool down or warm up with specialty coffee brews.

A great gathering spot that's been tried and true for decades. The owner is a very friendly gentleman and will always sit down and have a talk about current events or just talking about the town. Fantastic coffee and ice cream too
