Aurora and Louie are the absolute best! Their hospitality and customer service is truly unmatched. They got me to try the Guava and Cheese (I despise guava) and it was incredible. I would come back here everyday just to get their service!
They not only have the best donuts in the world… they also have the best team. Aurora is the most sweet and natural seller that makes you want all the donuts in the shop 🤤🤤
The donuts were great, I didn’t buy the vegan one as it didn’t seem appealing. The coffee I ordered ended up straight in the bin, it was very very bad. I hope they can improve on the coffee
We tried the Salty Donut 🍩 2 times, over a vaca weekend. First time the coffee was cold, two donuts were amazing! but one was stale, today, they both seemed stale, (same donut choice) was disappointed.. hit or miss based on previous day sales is my guess..
Employees are SUPER rude, no eye contact no personality. I asked for an extra pump of sweetener in my coffee and the girl acted like I poured the drink out on the floor. Donuts are great, hire new staff
Late Afternoon/Early evening visit. Everything exposed to the open air. Dim, unwelcoming environment. I ordered 6 cinnamon sugar holes($3/6ct.)and Brown butter&salt cake donut($4/ea.). Holes were hard, dry,&bland. The brown butter donut had better texture but $4 it missed the mark by far especially with the sharp contrast of the salt to the browned butter. Just too much....
They look pretty on top to distract you from the dry bread under the icing. Boston cream barely had any cream inside as pictured. $24 for 4 donuts is not worth the hype. Dunkin’ is way better.
The most Delicious donuts I’ve ever had! Also have vegan options!
I'll start with the positives: the tres leches and the ube pina colada donuts are AMAZING! Those alone are definitely worth the visit. However. We waited 20 minutes for a coffee and a tea, because the place is severely understaffed and the associates that are there are incredibly slow and forgetful. This caused a huge crowd in there and it was all just a mess. And once my coffee finally made it to me, it was terrible, overly sweet, to the point where it literally just felt like drinking maple syrup. Also, the brown butter-salt donut was stale (no, it's not the "special dough" - it was stale, it's easy to tell the difference), which is also pretty disappointing for a $4+ donut.
You have to try this place if you come to Florida or even if you're just someone who lives here! They have a hazelnut and chocolate donut filled with whipped Nutella. 😋 so damn good. 10/10
Fresh ingredients, donuts were by the far the best I’ve ever had. The girl who took my order was very sweet and cordial. Definitely coming back. 10/10
This was a great overall experience. My donut was delicious and the staff was very friendly unfortunately they closed early but I was able to get in right before 5 and get me a nice treat for the evening. Will definitely be coming back again soon!!
Every time I come to Florida to visit my family, I always stop by The Salty Donut. This is our go-to spot for it's amazing donuts and spectacular customer service. Everyone is always so kind and thoughtful.
Honestly these are the best donuts I've ever had. The staff was super kind and friendly, too. Very welcoming and helped me pick out what to eat when I was unsure, as I was a new guest! Definitely cant wait to go there again, worth the lengthy drive for the food and staff!
Absolutely the worst place ever. I arrived here at 4:30pm and asked if they were closing at 7 because I needed a coffee shop to have a meeting at 5. They said that I could stay and use the wifi. I then bought stuff and sit on a table. Even before my espresso was ready they told me I would have to leave because they changed their minds and decided to close earlier. As soon as they gave me my espresso they asked me to leave - they didn't even have the decency of letting me finish. Will never come back.
They have some unique flavor such as guava cheese, which is surprisingly good. Taste slightly less sweet than Voodoo donuts.
This place used to be great. Wanna preorder their latest donuts via the app/website? Nope, not available at the wynwood location. Kinda ridiculous that the flagship location only offers coffee and merch now if you want to skip the ridiculous line. Fix this and maybe I'll be a fan again!
I'm not a super fan of large donuts but this place puts a child-like nostalgia on sweet treats. The texture of the donuts are airy and not too heavy as to balance the more decadent toppings. The vibes are chill in a hipster artistic neighborhood.
Who doesn’t love donuts?? Especially if they’re filled with a gooey guava filling and topped with a crunchy Mille-feuille cookie…. Yum!
I travel here with my husband and he took me here in the afternoon, but it sold out almost everything. I tried the original flavor and brought some to my sisters. We all love the donuts here, so yummy and not too sweet. Dessert always makes me happy! Try it!
