Magic City Perks has quickly become my favorite place to go when I have some free time. The team is super nice and welcoming, and the coffee is the best I’ve had in Miami. Jose in particular is always happy to start up a conversation and made it a point to know my order and make it right every time!
Our place to go for coffee and pastries after our workout. My friend and I enjoy yummy lattes and cappuccinos every Thursday. We love the atmosphere, the quality of the coffee and the cleanliness. The owner always has a smile and the people behind the bar is always kind too.
Love this place, wonderful coffee and on-site owners are great.
Customer service was rude. They close at 6 but at 5:30 they don’t want to let you order.
This small coffee shop teleports you to Europe! The food, the customer service, and the ambiance are out of this world. The owner is the kindest person you'll ever meet with so much joy and a contagious smile. Coming here feels like a vacation from reality. Highly recommend ordering the prosciutto arugula and egg croissant sandwich, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Stress levels immediately decrease just by walking in. I can stay here forever writing great things about this place. If you've never been, you're missing out on this hidden gem.
We keep giving this place a shot but it's overpriced and quilty of the coffee is mediocure.
Great place wonderful people and they even Uber Eats
I've enjoyed this place's delicious pastries and hot drinks for a couple of months now, unfortunately today I received the worse customer service possible! For someone like me that deals with customer service all the time, it is important to state that as a customer I am cordial, since I myself have been on both ends. I noticed the young man who took my order was going to use regular milk and before he did I said: I'm sorry can you please use almond or coconut milk? before I can finish my sentence his reply was: NEXT TIME I WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THAT... which I said I'm sorry I didn't tell you as I was placing my order.(which he dismissed with gestures) I come here 2-3 times a week and never had a problem. Sadly his approach was poor and truly damper my experience there so far. Plus, he still used cow's milk. Even when the lady who's always there and I believe to be the owner try to smooth the very uncomfortable situation, the experience was awful. He could've charge extra, it wasn't about the money. But when you run a small business it is ALL about customer service.
Excellent place to have a relaxing cafe and pastry. Latte is perfect, Kito Cheescake, and a chocolate croissant are excellent.
The coffee was on point. A little pricey, but it was well worth it!
PROS: great pastries, great americano, lots of seating, very friendly and helpful staff, great hours, clean and open CONS: coffee was a little expensive (but good!), alternative milks are VERY expensive (not vegan or eco-friendly). I travel to a lot of coffee shops in major cities around the country and $1.50 for a splash of oat milk is the most expensive I’ve seen (previous record was $1). This makes a basic coffee with non-dairy milk almost $6 before tip. Many coffee shops will leave oat on the counter next to other milks. From the reviews, it seems others have the same feedback Thanks for the great coffee!
I've been coming here for about two years and watching it grow has been delightful! The newest menu additions are great, such as the Chaga Cacao Latte and today they had a delicious Limoncello and Mascarpone cake! So light and fluffy. I feel that it's the perfect place to sit down and get some work done. There's a cute little lake behind the parking lot so when you want to take a break you can pop over and sit in the grass!
If I’ve spent $20 on TWO coffee drinks, I’d hope they at least come out at the same time… I kinda got sticker schocked away from this place, as the menu prices didn’t match what I saw online. They talked up one of their special lattes, and it was ok… but I’d rather spend half price at Starbucks and not drive all the way out to West Kendall for it. I’m all about trying out a new spot, but maybe I missed the point here, or I’m just having an off morning… but… Uhh, really?
This place is amazing. They have one of the best coffee’s in Miami and the best banana bread. The only thing not good about this place is the sofas. They are not comfortable.
Great Staff ! Fantastic coffee ! Amazing food ! Love the vibe and people that go there, Best Almond croissant in Miami.
We live in West Palm Beach and our parents live in Kendall. For years we’ve visited with our children, and we could never find quality freshly roasted coffee so we gave up trying to find one UNTIL TODAY! We’re so glad we bumped into this place right before getting on the highway. Customer service was kind and professional. You can definitely taste the quality of the ART and quality of coffee making in the flavor (aaaand they had oatmilk 🥳). Go give them a try!
I spent a few hours there. The food was great. I ordered the vegan empanada and the pistachio cold matcha latte. The service was great, no complaints there. However, the place was not clean. The floor in many different seating areas was dirty and no one was actively cleaning them. However when I sat down in one area, someone came to clean the table. But floor was still dirty and I don't know if I would come back because of that.
My husband and I have been regulars at Magic City Perks for over 3 years. This is hands down the best coffee shop in Miami! We've sent all of our friends and family here and everyone agrees. The espresso is the highest quality and their iced lattes are to die for. The chocolate croissant is outstanding, and the rest of their pastries are fresh and delicious as well. The staff are super sweet and friendly. They have become part of our extended family. We truly love this place! ❤️☕🥰
Great coffee shop with a beautiful interior, the baristas (JD is awesome!) are incredibly friendly and it is quite spacious inside. The perfect place to study and relax. Highly recommend the iced white chocolate raspberry latte!
Miami native here, a coffee fanatic, and I'm going to get a little sappy. I've waited years and years to have good specialty coffee around here–REAL specialty coffee, not Starbucks or a trendy place that looks hip but doesn't have the goods. I used to drive to downtown through traffic and pay ridiculous parking fees to get a good pour over at Panther Coffee or La Eternidad because those were the only serious coffee shops around. After getting one of the best pour overs I've had at any coffee shop, (and I've tried more than a few), I can finally, proudly say that we have a real winner closer to home for the Kendall people. This place is legit. Well done, Magic City Perks.
