Friendly service but every time I have been there, it has been lukewarm coffee that smelled and tasted burnt when I order a hot coffee it doesn’t matter if I go there at seven in the morning or one in the afternoon the coffees always Burt tasting and not hot
Not the best white mocha in town but considering there isnt anything else nearby - it's better than No white mocha at all.
Best freshly roasted coffee beans in Melbourne! I make my coffee myself at home and IRCC has a very large selection of freshly roasted beans, including decaff. They can also grind the beans for you right when you buy them so you can take home the grounds. Their barista drinks are delicious as well and the inside usually is not very busy so if you wanted to come and do work inside, there should be space for you.
This place is GREAT. I don't drink coffee, but I do when I go here! Today I got the Java Chip Scrumpaccino and was not disappointed! You can tell that their whipped cream is homemade which adds that extra touch of love. Their muffins and sandwiches are also delicious!! They're always so friendly when you go, You will not be disappointed. P.S. They do not accept credit card tips so make sure to bring a couple dollars! Their excellent service deserves it 👏

I went there this morning with my wife to have coffee and a bagel and a muffin so I gave them my order and sat down instead of taking care of my order first another person came in and back at me order something and they took their order right away and gave it to him right away I had to wait and sit down to get my order then another customer come in they gave an order they took care of their order and I'm still waiting I got two coffee sitting down and waiting for my muffin and a bagel but the problem is since they changed the help they cannot seem to take one order at a time and finish that order until taking another order that's their problem I was sitting waiting for my order it's I guess it's who you know
Friendly staff and wonderful drinks. I am always happy to support a local business instead of a chain, and Indian River Coffee does not disappoint. Whether it’s a latte or chai, everything is delicious. Even if you’re not a huge coffee fan, their smoothies are top notch. Especially the mango passion fruit pineapple smoothie! I have always felt so welcomed there, and will be recommending them for the perfect local coffee spot.

Best coffee in the area.. they have never made a mistake and a bit cheaper than starbucks!! Highly recommended!
This place is the real deal for fresh roasted coffee. I’m very pleased to find a local roaster, I’m enjoyed a cup of Sumatra right now, mmmm! 5 stars for sure💋💃🏻🥳
I have been going to Indian River Coffee at least twice a week for about a year now. I was always so excited to see Steph and the crew with welcoming smiles! Ever since they left, this place has gone down. You can’t call ahead order smoothly anymore. The coffee is never made the same. Half the time they are too lazy to even stir it, and hand it to me expecting me to mix my coffee that I just paid $8 for. A couple of weeks ago there was a cockroach in the display case . I let the staff know, they replied with, we’ll let me just get your food out now, and then we will deal with it. I wish the standards were as high as they were with Steph. The quality of the experience has definitely gone down. Guess I start going back to Starbucks.
I have family in Melbourne so I visit often. I always drive by this place. Today I decided to stop and got a white mocha latte. Latte was not hot at all but more like lukewarm. This was a turn off for me.
Yesterday around 2 I went thru the drive thru an got amazing customer service an a custom coffee! Wish I would have got the girls name but I really hope she gets the recognition she deserves, she’s going places an this place always has been great!

Great coffee and very friendly service. You can tell it's in an old bank and the interior could use some uodating but everything was clean and the coffee was great! The barista helped my wife decide on a drink, and it was tasty. They were roasting beans in the back, which smelled amazing.
I love this place. I stop here every morning for coffee and a muffin. The team is very nice, has seen me enough they remember my order lol

The customer service was amazing even though they couldn't serve hot coffee this morning. The main water line was broken. Ahh! I appreciated the time they took to explain the problem to me and their friendly demeanor. The iced Americano and my egg and cheese sandwich were absolutely delicious. I love this place and am so happy it's in the neighborhood.
Simply amazing coffee! I can’t thank Stanley enough, he is a true coffee artist. I pulled up through the drive through window and ordered something completely altered and off menu to support my low-sugar, plant-based preferences. And he nailed one of the best frozen drinks I’ve ever had!! I’ll be back for sure, with gratitude!
It use to be great. I didnt realize there was a new owner until I tried to order. They were out of several items and quality has tanked. There is better local coffee in town. Crossing it off my list.
