Great service and the food is top shelf.
From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a cozy Italian trattoria, with warm lighting, decor, and a welcoming atmosphere. But the real star of the show is the food. Their pasta is handmade! We tried several dishes, but the polenta al ragu was a standout - the polenta was perfect for the rich, meaty sauce. The Ravioli di Cinghiale al Burro e Timo was also a winner. Kind of far for us, but this restaurant is worth the trip!
Chef saved our night! Mothers day and anniversary same night. We had to to get take out with a newborn at home and we really enjoyed the freshness of the food!
Ance que si mangia bene!!! Great Northern Italian restaurant! The name got me to stop and research. Well worth the stop! Love the food and waiter Nicola! I'll definitely be back! Grazie e A Presto!!!
Great authentic Italian restaurant in south Florida. It was a pretty small restaurant that probably sat 50 people max. We reserved a table for later that night and were pretty happy that we did because it was fully booked. I highly recommend making a reservation beforehand. We sat outside and the weather was really nice. The menu was pretty extensive with two sections dedicated to raviolis and risotto. They also had featured dishes for that night. We ordered the scallops for appetizer which was very delicious and fresh, definitely melts in the mouth. There was only 3 scallops though. I ordered the delicious pear raviolis which featured a light cheesy sauce which I recommend.
Couldn’t believe this amazing place is basically in the middle of nowhere. So hard to find authentic fine Italians in SF….this place is a complete must. Beautiful setting, perfect ironed dressed tables, but most importantly, impeccably crafted dishes! Delicious homemade pasta made to perfection… It was a real treat this place! Do not hesitate visiting if you really want to enjoy an overall exquisite experience. 5 stars on my end 😉.
Great food. Impeccable service. Love the scallops app and lobster ravioli.
The best service. We loved the food. Staff are patient in explaining what's on the menu.
A hidden gem. This restaurant came highly recommended, but I was hesitant to go inside as it does not look that appealing from the outside. When we finally went in, we found a small place with great ambiance. Owned and operated by a real Italian family who will make sure your experience is outstanding. The menu is quite diverse and complete and still they usually have specials made with the freshest ingredients of the season. I personally recommend you order pasta, which is made fresh every day! This is the only place I order pasta as I do not feel bloated afterwards. The meals are light and filling. The wine selection is excellent too. Gian Marco and hi staff are great at identifying your wine preference and help you pair the ideal wine for your taste. By far the most authentic Italian restaurant I've been to in South Florida. For a couple of hours you will feel as if you were in Italy.
The place is very nice, clean, the waitresses were friendly, the food was good, the price is reasonable.
Pasta And is charming, romantic and comfortably sophisticated. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The food is authentic northern italian made from superior quality homemade recipes. The flavors are amazing!
A very humiliating experience. We left the place shocked and speechless. We returned 1 plate out of 7 dishes that wasn’t good to say the least(we took half a bite) and they thought we were playing “games” and making it up so we don’t have to pay for it, then they accused us of prior return in the past (we had a piece of metal in the pasta). At that point , we just asked for the check and skipped our dessert order because we wanted to run away from this humiliating feeling. They refused to give us the check and they told us that we don’t need to pay for anything in a very arrogant way (as if our money isn’t good for them). We insisted several times that we want to pay for our dinner and we aren’t looking to get anything for free and they insisted otherwise. Nothing wrong with taking criticism, we have been to this place many times and built a nice relationship with one of the waiters, but as soon as there is a small complaint they flip from the nicest people on the planet to the most arrogant ones. Their motto is : there is no way there is something wrong with the food, 0% chance, it’s probably a game we are playing or we don’t understand Italian cuisine. Long story short, a great place to dine with fine Italian food and overall nice people until something goes wrong or something is not of your tasting. Very shameful feeling. We really enjoyed this place till yesterday, unfortunately we won’t return and based on the waiter/manger who spoke to us they don’t want us back either. I have never felt this humiliated in my life as I did yesterday.
My fiance and I were out looking for some good Italian for dinner tonight (Saturday night) and we accidentally stumbled upon this place. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Have you ever tried a bite of food that was so good you sat in complete silence from the shock? Well that's how it was for us. I had the mushroom ravioli/truffle and he had the rabbit ravioli in the Moscato sauce. It was unreal. The staff was very nice and explained the menu to us. Dessert was delicious and so was my cappuccino. Hands down the best Italian I've had in the tri-county area. We will definitely be back. Heads up it is a small place so I would say a reservation is a must they were able to squeeze us in but if they couldn't it would've been a 3 hour wait. We got lucky. Definitely make a reservation!
I will start by saying the food was very good and our server was friendly and gave us the best experience he could. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the manager asking us to leave so someone else could have our table and barely giving us enough time to process what was happening and collect our things. I’ve been to several restaurants that manage their table turnover transparently and give advance notice that your reservation has an expiration time. That’s understandable. We were here with new friends trying to have a good experience and our time was abruptly cut short in a very unapologetic way. I want to recommend this place to people for the food, but I just cant because there’s no way to guarantee your experience will be worth the price.
By far one of the best Italian restaurants in Florida and a definite top 10 in North America. It’s actually not expensive for the quality of the food they serve. I was a little hesitant to go as it’s in a strip mall. I’ve now learned to leave my preconceived notions behind. The wine list is on par with the food and the Italian beers are upscale I had a squid ink linguini with seafood, it was pure pleasure to be presented with such a plate. The calamari was so tender it melted in your mouth like a filet mignon. All the staff speared to be Italian and the service was impeccable. This is now my go to restaurant to impress the family when they come visit from Italy.
Pasta and is the closest you'll get to experiencing authentic Italian food and service! All the employees are so well educated on their product. The wine selection is incredible and everything is affordable. You're not overspending for the ambiance and quality of food. We recommend calling for reservations and trying the desserts!
It's a delicious restaurant, inconspicous in my opinion, but if you go, easy to find, park and eat. Will go back when possible.
From service to quality of food, you’re in for a five star experience. I feel bad going any where else for Italian. My wife and I are regulars and we have yet to be disappointed. I’d give 10 stars if I could
Pasta and... deserves 1,000+ 5 star reviews. We were lucky enough to find this hidden gem a couple years ago, and now we come for a date night about every other month. I lived in Italy and I can honestly say, it's like stepping into Northern Italy. Nothing like the rest of the Americanized "Italian" restaurants. A few of my favorite dishes here are the wild boar ragu, the rabbit ragu, the lamb gnocchi, osso bucco, ugh the list goes on. It's also a wine lover's DREAM. They have several Sommelier's in-house including a Master Sommelier, who always recommends us the best Italian wines unlike you can find elsewhere. For desert, I highly recommend the pistachio gelato. It has the purest pistachio flavor and just melts in your mouth. JUST like Italy. Gian Marco is the best host, his Father is the chef and Mother cooks as well. Such genuine people, truly. Very romantic interior, a single rose on the table, beautiful dim lighting, nice quality wine glasses, about 8 tables max. Quite simply, it's date night heaven.
I tried most of the Italian restaurants in South Florida (and not only) and I can't avoid to say that this is really a little hidden gem. A cozy little restaurant 100% italian, delicious food, amazing wines and impeccable service. Our waiter Nicola was unobtrusive but very very attentive, exactly what you expect in a great restaurant, we really appreciate him a lot. I'm looking forward to come back again.
