Super nice folks and donuts are unbelievable
My wife and I used to regularly buy dozens of donuts from Donut King in Winter Park, FL when we lived in the area. We moved to Ocala a few years ago and were disappointed that no good donut shops were located in Ocala. A few weeks ago we had some banking to take care of at our credit union in Leesburg and got into a discussion about good donut shops. I googled "Best donut shops in the area" as we were driving through Leesburg on our way home up came "Donut King Leesburg". We were curious about whether this was the same owner. It turns out that it was the first original one! We bought a dozen and they were truly great tasting as the ones we were used to in Winter Park. We are truly happy that we found our awesome donut shop again, granted not in Ocala, but less than an hour, worth the drive!
Heard about the donuts so often that just had to try it. OMG, Amazing!! Legendary types and the best ever.
The donuts were great, and we especially enjoyed the flavor and variety. Customer service was a bit lacking.
The donuts are amazing but the employee Carrie Widmann is the absolute rudest person I've ever encountered in customer service. I will not be going back to this location as long as she is working there. And I've heard she is rude to everyone and has been the cause of lost business. It's truly heartbreaking as donut king is my favorite donut shop.
Unbelievable variety of fresh, delicious pastries and Donuts. The clerk was so knowledgeable, patiently explaining what everything in the case was. I'll stop every time I go thru Leesburg!

Visiting from Orlando, we decided to stop in since we're we're early. Great selection, wonderful variety, and the best smells are here! Worth the trip.
Donuts are good but they're very expensive now. But I will go back because they were good.

The Donut King in Leesburg have the best donuts I've ever tasted The jelly filled are my favorite. I've had their donuts at Cecil Clark Chevrolet while Wait for my car to be serviced.Taara waited on me this morning SHE WAS very pleasant and helpful Hurry to the Donut King of Leesburg. The donuts are great but the staff, however my wife, myself and my five year old went in about two weeks ago on the weekend and were told that the happy hour is only Monday through Thursday fast forward roughly 2 weeks we go in last night which was Monday and we ask for the happy hour special it was like 7:40pm And we were informed we no longer do that, It was the same woman that told us previously that it was Monday through Thursday and she wasn’t budging. I almost turned around and left but with a five-year-old, I can’t walk into a donut place and turn around and leave and tell him he can’t have a donut so we got donuts and left and I will be thinking twice about going back. I wish I caught the woman’s name. I believe she’s some kind of a manager or some thing. I guess I will have to take our business elsewhere. Anytime we’ve dealt with this worker there she barely gives the time of day is kind of rushing. I get it I have worked the restaurant industry but you get a child in front of donuts of different styles and they can’t make up their mind so give them a minute no one else was in the place. So overall, the food was great customer service lacking
