Love this place. This was one of my go-to’s as a college student. Brian, the owner, is super kind and personable. Everyone who works here is great. The coffee and tea are good and at reasonable prices too. There’s also board games, outdoor seating, and live music on Tuesdays indoors (I believe from 6-8 unless it’s changed.) It gets packed sometimes! Super cute place, highly recommend.

First time visiting, and this is a great spot. They had live music on a Friday afternoon and quite the crowd. It was a pleasant surprise. I had a cold tea and blueberry muffinand both were delicious. Will definitely make this a regular spot.

It's my favorite coffee house in Lakeland. I had an iced tea and sat outside on the porch with a friend and it was lovely. Everyone behind the counter is always friendly and quick to help. It's the best.

Unimpressed from start to finish. The coffee shop is a house, which I thought was unique and cool, until I realized what a joke parking was. The baristas were cold and uninterested in helping anyone. Even after I expressed that it was my first visit. There's nowhere comfortable to sit and work; most of the seats don't have backs. The coffee prices are reasonable, but the coffee wasn't great. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it. Customer service still matters, and hipster coffee shops are a dime a dozen, step it up, Hillcrest. Be kind to your patrons.

Great atmosphere to get work done and good coffee. Not far from downtown too. However, feels very clique, the customer service was rude the last 3x i was here. Tendency to feel like an outsider if your not a regular. Also closes early and opens late for a coffee shop

My family has vacationed in a number of States and we always frequent the local coffee shops, and we are all in agreement, Hillcrest is the best all around Hometown coffee shop. The coffee is amazing, the food is top notch, and the atmosphere is very quaint. I had the Leek quiche and by far it was the best quiche I've ever eaten. We high recommend Hillcrest.

The owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They can make you just about whatever kind of coffee beverage you want as long as they have the supply. Becoming a regular is easily accomplished here due to the cozy atmosphere. The downside of this coffee shop is parking and that they don't open super early in the morning but if you have a break in your day or an unconventional work schedule this place is a great place to hang out and kill time.

Arrived at one of my favorite coffee places not only in Lakeland but in Florida. You can park in the small parking lot by the side of the cute yellow house where the coffee and tea are sold or on the streets that surround it. There are sitting spaces inside and out. It was a bit in the freezing side when we got there this am, so if you are sitting inside bring a sweater, it is refreshing when it is 90 out but tend to get a bit chilly after a few minutes. The pricing is so reasonable, feels more like the 2000’s than 2022. $3.65 for a latte.,at a place down the street they charge $5.50-$6.25! Crazy! So much better here AND the folks that work here… so polite! I thought I would get into one of those cartoon arguments with a barista of who was going to go first in a hallway! He was much too polite with his hands full, lol!!!! My honey cinnamon latte, delish!!!!!!!!! My hubby got coffee. All coffees are made from beans from a local company called Ethos, Buddy Brew and Patriot. $1.10 an ounce. Have had them all…gets your heart racing, in a good way😘

A jewel near downtown Lakeland. I absolutely love coming here. The best hot/cold drinks and live music! Very small parking lot tho.
