Best hometown local coffee shop, family owned and operated. The coffee is superb and the prices are the most affordable when taking into consideration other local coffee shops.
Great coffee, exceptionally slow service
Coffee choices are fabulous. Service is always friendly, efficient, and fast.
The best coffee in the area! They were roasting when I walked in and I knew it was special. They have so many single origin options that are all roasted on site! I got a Guatemalan coffee and it was delicious. They even put a little Guatemalan flag sticker on the lid – nice touch! My wife, who doesn’t drink coffee, got a smoothie and said it was tasty. Highly recommended!
Great Hearty Breakfast Sandwich. Delicious cold & hot coffee. Cute indoor area and nice outdoor seating. Order at counter & take outdoors. No service at tables. Quick and easy in and out with easy parking. Lovely area.
The coffee so quite dark roasted and it’s bitter. We also ordered Açai bowls which were frozen to death, definitely can’t recommend. Mediocre at best.
This is far my favorite coffee spot in this area, they bring different coffee from various regions, the brews are well made and prices are very reasonable. They bring good value overall.
I love Crux Coffee Roasters. I frequently visit Crux and a couple of other coffee shops when I am intentionally building friendships. I only go to certain coffee shops for specific reasons. I have an espresso machine and a high-end grinder at home. Therefore, I only go to a coffee shop if I am spending time with someone and if the shop has these qualities: - Yummy pastries. -Coffee on pair with what I can make at home or better. -Freshly roasted coffee beans (Single origin or blends) that taste great. -Excellent customer service. -Great atmosphere to spend time with someone. It is notable to mention that my drink of choice is espresso or espresso drinks. I tend to not add anything to my drinks except milk. You can tell a good shop based on how their espresso, cold brew, or pour-over tastes when it doesn't have sugar in it. A lot of shops have garbage coffee but get by with their sugary drinks. With that being said, Crux has good coffee. I cannot give my opinion on the pour-over. But I can say we have enjoyed their lattes, cold brew, and acai bowls. I just recently bought some roasted coffee beans from them. I went home, through them in my Niche Zero grinder, and made myself a delicious cortado. The drink was amazing, everything I love about a single-origin Guatemalan. I was very happy with their beans. The price and amount of the bag will make it worth buying from them in the future. I was looking for a local roaster that would make me want to cancel my coffee bean subscription service. Crux gave me a reason to cancel! Summary: I would say crux is a great coffee shop. I love their acai bowls and their coffee beans. They support the troops (which is rare for coffee shops), its in a great location, and great staff. Supporting the troops makes me happy to give them my money! We will continue to meet here to build a friendship.
Unbelievable selection of single origin house roasted coffees filtered by pour over method. I tried the Costa Rica and Ethiopian on back to back holiday days at 7:00am - thanks for being open early on New Years Eve.
Really nice staff and very wide choice of coffee with good price!
Great selection of coffee and small treats.
One of the best coffee I ever had.. startbkucks killer..
Great coffee, mocha is SO good. My kids loved the sausage, egg, and cheese.
I love this place, coffee and tea are delicious and the staff is really friendly and helpful. I totally recommend this place!!
Enjoyed my pour over made with the Tanzania Peaberry coffee. Had the Aciai bowl. First time having one. It was good!
Crux is a wonderful environment whether you’re just stopping in to get a coffee or you’re sitting down with a friend doing some work! They have incredible coffee and the staff is always polite. I highly recommend trying it out as it has been amazing since its opening.
Crux Coffee Roasters is my FAVORITE coffee shop. The owner and the staff are amazing. I have never had a bad experience here. Coffee is delicious and addicting. I highly recommend their iced mocha latte. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!
Sooooo, there is no use of your own cup. Plastic cups not eco friendly and the current owners arent either. I heard the way they talk to their young and super friendly staff, they were rude. Also I have friends who communicate a little differently than your typical Abacoa-ian (Abacoa is the neighborhood) and the owners seemed to be annoyed by this. Diversity, equity and inclusion.... not feeling so accepted. Before the previous owner made the place a hapoy place. Since they lost him, the vibe of the place is not the same.
This coffee shop is okay- I love the drip coffees but the lattes and caps are eh. The breakfast sandwich I had was hard and unappetizing. I like their açaí bowls. They were out of croissants the last time I went and the avocado toast was just okay
Amazing coffee selection, has decaf and coconut milk!
