Have come here several times and the coffee (cortado) is always good! Also, very cool environment.

Vagabond is a great local coffee shop ++ They have quality locally roasted coffee. Their baked goods are second to none. They also have a few breakfast sandwiches that are on point as well. They have a nice selection of beers and wines for later in the night. One of the best things about this place is that they are open late! Almost no coffee shops are open past 4. They host tons of events and have their own once a month flea market. It’s a very refreshing space and a cornerstone of the Murray Hill community.

No drip coffee at 3:00 in the afternoon?! Can’t call yourself a coffee shop if you don’t have the most basic coffee shop staple at any given time you’re open. We had to go with a cold brew and an americano instead. The americano took almost 10 minutes with no one else waiting and the cold brew cup was filled 3/4 with ice. We were looking forward to quality coffee and a short reprieve from driving all day. At least they had some good pastries available for the kids. But we won’t be stopping here again for a coffee break.

Great service and a chill spot but the tables and chairs are not good for us plus size folks or disabled folks. They are very narrow so it’s hard to sit. Love the tea and the espresso. They always have delicious egg sandwiches and don’t sell out as quick as other spots in the area. They also have beer and wine package store space so take a beer to go!

If I want a cup of coffee out of my house this is where I go. I enjoy the setting its in and the simplicity of the decorations. Very laid back place and really good coffee. They have cans of craft beer in a fridge you can buy and drink inside. The prices are a little high but it is an artisan coffee shop. Glad to see places like this in the Murray Hill.

Tasty pastry’s. Had the blueberry muffin & a cheese- guava pastry. Enjoyed them both. Coffee was fresh, but not my bag. Too acidic for my taste. Cool, relaxing vibe.

Great coffee and teas. Pastries were delish. Cute little shop with seating in an interesting small shopping district. Fun flea/craft market outside it on Sundays.

Putting into words the significance of this coffee shop is difficult to do in few words. But without being overly loquacious, it’s important to note that Vagabond coffee is about beans, pastries, community, and promoting social justice. I have been a customer of Vagabond since 2016. They have been not only a staple in my family’s routine, but also a place that we like to share with non-locals. We are so proud to have this spot in our neighborhood. What makes Vagabond so unique is that they are more than just a coffee roaster. Once a month, they host the Vagabond Flea where they have local venders set up pop-ups. Vagabond is invested in delicious coffee and the community around them. Highly recommending and enjoying their fun outdoor space as well.

Poor customer service, very slow wait time when only a few people were there. Extremely disappointing experience. New employees needed! Went around 3pm today.

I play in a band that plays the venue next door to this shop at least once a year. I always look forward to the show but it’s so rad to have a coffee shop next to it that I also look forward to visiting every time it pops up on our schedule. Amazing coffee, great atmosphere and the staff has always been really kind. Looking forward to another trip there soon!

Stressed? Love their cbd tea. My go to is butterscotch iced latte. The people who work here are always friendly and helpful. Love that they stay open late. A gem to the neighborhood

First off this place is the first place I grabbed a coffee at vagabond can always have my money. They are so chill and support everyone are always a safe place for you. The Coffee is ideal. It’s strong and not burnt. So you won’t have that burnt taste like at a Starbucks. They have some beers as well as champagne. Also you definitely need to try the pastries. You won’t regret it.

Traveling from SC back to Austin, make this a stop every time. The drip coffee is very well roasted, light-medium roast with some earthiness and floral/fruity notes. If you like your coffee black, stop here. Can’t speak to any milk based drinks. We will make this a regular stop when traveling this route. Quality coffee shops are somewhat of a rarity close to major highways. This is not far from 95 and worth stop. Also the staff was very polite and the baked items looked great.

Very odd experience here. Was driving the area and thought a coffee shop would be great idea. We saw this place via. Google maps and thought we’d try it out. The guy playing banjo outside was neat. Walked inside and ordered a coffee but felt bad doing so because the entire time our cashier was crying. She started making the coffee and two other employees walked near. No one was talking about her crying or allowing her a break? It was odd. She ended up making the lattes with regular milk (we ordered oatmilk) but I was nervous to say anything because she was sobbing while making the coffee. I talked to the other cashier that walked up and told her to please make them with oatmilk because that is what we ordered. When we got the coffee and the lid on one wasn’t on all the way and spilled on my husbands lap some (simple fix but he was wearing white pants). I opened my coffee to drink it and saw a small spider on the foam… never seen that before. So this was definitely a 5/5 with one of the oddest coffee places we’ve experienced. I give a 1 star because it was not welcoming, not sure why the cashier spent the whole time sobbing and no one let her leave or helped her?, and the coffee was not as great as I was expecting. Have never seen a small spider in my drink before but I guess it can happen 🤷‍♀️
