I can not say enough great things about this place. The PERFECT coffee shop and plant shop. Every drink I’ve tried has been delicious and beautiful (I’ve had the guava mojito, the greenhouse cold brew, and the old fashioned latte, all incredible). The best part was the staff though. They gave me great recommendations and were very kind, made me feel right at home. I’m so happy we have a place like this in Jax and will be back ❤️
Such a cute spot with great drinks, plants, and aethetics! Love coming in for a matcha and doing work or reading by the window! Various seating options to accommodate different day time interests as well as of course the night time bar for drinks!
5 stars!!! The only downfall for me personally is a lack of table space for working away from home, but there are plenty of other places where I can do that. Just wanted to point that out for anyone looking for coffee shops where you can work remotely. It is a great environment, but there are limited tables where you can sit with your laptop, a coffee, and a bite to eat. There are some smaller tables that’d fit one of the above, but not all three. And some other seating options as well. It’s great for meeting a friend, meeting strangers, or reading a book. Their monthly drinks are my favorite. I love their various monthly matchas the most ! I also like taking recommendations from the baristas / bartenders working at the time as well to break out of shell and try something new. Great staff. Welcoming environment. Great community. Great plants!!!!
The Greenhouse Bar is a great local spot for great coffee and awesome atmosphere. It’s a unique setup with half coffee shop and half plant shop. Tons to choose from, along with small gifts and bakery items. We tried the Greenhouse cold coffee with cold foam which tasted sweet and delicious. We also tried the Old Fashioned Latte which had a subtle bourbon flavor. It was perfect because it wasn’t too sweet. Very smooth and consistent. The biggest drawback is what so many others said. The prices. I’ve been to similar shops that use natural ingredients like organic coffee and house made syrups and they’re cheaper than this place. I’d they can go down a bit, it may be a 5/5.
Love the vibe and the drinks are delicious too
Stumbled into this super cute bar. Great drinks & even better conversation with the bartenders/owners. Lauren and Jen were a delight. Such a cool vibe with the plant shop and bar. This is not a full liquor bar but you will not be disappointed with the drinks!
What a wonderful concept. Such a relaxing vibe. Totally a place to come for a plant or some coffee
I have mixed drinks about my feelings. I went into this place with the highest excitement level. Drinks and plants, what could be more phenominal?! The good: What a vibe. This place is simply stunning. They have a million plants to choose from, and it really does feel like you're having a cheeky bevy in a greenhouse. The drink menu was extensive, and there is something for everyone. I tried the cucumber spritz and the petal blossom. Both were to perfection, and the petal blossom is something I see myself coming back for. Valerie was an amazing bartender and overall cheerful human being. She was giving the experience you'd expect from this place. They're also debuting a food menu soon, and everything looks perfectly curated. The bad: I really don't like leaving negative reviews or comments, but the other person working the coffee station was... less than pleasant. My friend and I sat at the bar for... at least 10 minutes, and we were ignored. To the point where the barista came to the register right in front of us and didn't speak to us or even look at us. No greeting, no "our bartender is on break and will be back soon" or "hello, how are you?" or "I'm sorry for your wait, but someone will be with you shortly." Like I said, she didn't even look up at us from the register which we were sitting right in front of. It was really off-putting. We thought we had to get up and go to the other register to order since we were the only ones sitting at the bar. Thankfully, Valerie came out and let us know we were in the right spot and took care of us! Maybe the barista was having a bad day, but it's really off-putting for a first-time customer to be blatantly ignored. Lastly, plant prices were quite high.
Try the Brown Sugar Shaka! It is so delicious and worth continually coming back for. Great shop with a wide variety of drinks and plants!
I stopped in here after dinner after eating dinner at another restaurant and the Greenhouse Cold Brew was recommended. I liked it, but the prices of the drinks were a little steep in price. The vibe and decor was nice and you can buy plants while you're there. The plants are beautiful but they're kinda expensive.
This place is a little slice of peace, i came around 5 so i wasn't sure if i should have coffee or something stronger lol. Staff was nice the atmosphere was very pleasant and clean. Definitely will make a stop again. I hope you get good added on to the menu
V cute vibe. Coffee is nice and strong, and it's usually pretty quiet in here. They have cocktail parties every once and a while. It's a great place to work remotely from, catch up with a friend, or take a date! The plants are priced a little high, but they appear to be of high quality as well, so I picked one up (:
Amazing place for those who enjoy a good Café, Matcha Tea or a cocktail with a greenhouse vibes! 100% recommended
It’s a SUPER cute atmosphere with all of the plants and the coffee is good, but it’s by far the most expensive coffee in Jacksonville. It’s hard to justify spending over $9 for a specialty espresso with oat milk. There’s also not a ton of seating available. Love what they have going on there, but it’s not practical to be a regular. Still worth a visit!
Beautiful place inside. Very relaxing. Coffee and hand pies were decent. Plants are way overpriced.
A very nice environment
I love them💗 The owner is friendly, I ordered green tea mixed with lavender and it was delicious
Wowww what a find! Great atmosphere, equally good coffee, and an array of unusual and delicious pastries. I only tried one - the blackberry, orange, and goat cream hand pie - but they all looked nice.
Serving far and away the best coffee that we have had in America ….. we went two mornings in succession. If only they served toasted sandwiches or croissants or something like that, it would be beyond perfect.
Not the inconsiderate extremely loud and noisy westside oversized dirty pickup, modified muffler, rattling bass boom car dude culture crowd.
