Ordered a large hot mocha. What I recieved did not reflect the price. Also, the quality wasn't on par with some other smaller coffee chains I frequent.
Very polite baristas, visited about 12:45. Order a 16oz hot latte, was informed I could only get that in a 12oz. I though odd but ok let's do this. After waiting about 10 minutes which wasn't an issue as I explored the coffee profiles and merch. I was then called to the counter where my latte waited. Smiled and thanked the staff , only to walk away with a not even Luke warm latte. The flavor im sure would be great had I not received a cold. "Hot" latte. Maybe better luck next time I guess. Cute place, nice baristas but I ordered a hot latte

I got a coffee to go. I ordered it ahead of time and when I got there three place was busy. As I stood there waiting for my coffee nobody asked me if I needed help. I ordered a large coffee with an espresso shot so I thought. When I finally realize that my cup of coffee was sitting on the counter waiting for me, I grabbed it and went on my way. That's on me for not using attention. But the sipps later, I decided to throw it away as it tasted horrible. This was my 3rd time here and my first two times were really good. But not the third time. Hopefully it'll be better next time, that is, if I go back.
Everytime I get coffee, I always end up wanting more from their espresso and coffee beans.
This place raises the bar for coffee shops in North Florida! From the high quality taste of their coffee to the even higher quality of service and personableness of the baristas, Bold Bean provides the perfect coffee experience for locals and out-of-towners alike. Sal and Collin were phenomenal, and their hospitality makes us want to visit their shop for years to come.
I ordered food and coffee. The food came out immediately, but I waited forever for the coffees. I decided to ask to the cashier since I were waiting in front of the bassists and nonone ever looked at me and somehow someone lost the order. I know mirmstakes happen, but if someone payed attention they would notice a customer was standing in front of them for long enough to ring a bell.
This coffee spot is by far one the best I’ve been too. The attention and dedication to serving you is above par. Their coffee is top tier also. I visited for the time I was there and by the second day the knew your name , very impressed by that. I would definitely come back and recommend this spot to anyone that visit’s Jacksonville area.
Absolutely one of my favorite places to go for morning coffee fix, always pleasant, staff always friendly, and I have become somewhat of a regular.
The coffee is amazing. The service is slow but only because the barista takes time to perfect the coffee. The micro foam was beautiful on my dirty chi. And flavor wise, absolute heaven.
Nice place - professional staff but the coffee is not my taste. My cold brew (and my girlfriend’s iced mocha) tasted more like tea than coffee which is due to a type of grounds they use. I’ve had one other experience like that at a different coffee shop that used a similar bean. I’m open to returning and asking about this particular flavor and seeing if they can do something different
The black coffee had a terrible garbage water like putrid smell. Would never go again. Service was quick to order and get the coffee.
"Croissant" is in fact a greasy bread roll shaped like a croissant. Bagel is not exciting. The coffee is good, but if you're looking for something to go with it you may be disappointed. Two easy upgrades to the place: real croissants and a latch on the restroom door that indicates if it's occupied or not. Nice industrial, almost subway tile hipster look and friendly staff, no refills on coffee.
You must try their Honey Vanilla Latte but also can’t go wrong with a black coffee or chai latte. Atmosphere is perfect for getting some computer work done (wifi available) and the staff is always so welcoming
Tried Bold Bean cause I got a gift card over the holidays. This coffee shop in Jacksonville Beach Florida is conveniently located at the corner of 3rd Street and Osceola Ave with plenty of parking. Tried their drip coffee and it’s very Bold and delightful. A satisfying cup for sure. The baristas are smiling and friendly too. Very clean and the music isn’t too loud so you can have a conversation and work with their free WiFi too.
After suffering through several days of bad coffee (for various reasons), I finally had a chance to check this place out and it didn't disappoint! Their pour over game is on point and the pricing is very reasonable for what you get - people who care about great coffee. Highly recommend!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Staff is excellent and coffee is always amazing! This is my spot when I need to get into some focused projects. Great to come here and then go finish the day out on the beach to watch the sunset.
I wasn't all that impressed with the taste of their coffee. The service was top notch. I also bought a bag of their roasted coffee beans. Overall, the coffee beans have a great taste and aroma but aren't anything near the dark roast I was expecting. I will return and try more of their other drinks.
