Good location, music (live and ambient) , good product... but be prepared for the service to be abysmally slow. As in are-they-growing-the-beans? slow. There's casual and then there's just plain lack of urgency. Seems depends on who's working. Plastic straws. Plastic cups. Decor comfortable - features some religious iconography which one would hope reflect the owners' ethos and isn't displayed just to appeal to nouveau hippies or to make the new gentrified Gulfport think they've gone someplace exotic. Community sketchbooks are a nice idea (suggest an occasional edit for intentional misuse).

This place is a great example of cultural appropriation. Using colonized people’s religion and culture as decoration and for financial gain is extremely disrespectful. There’s a difference between appreciation and appropriation. This place definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. But hey, they have oat milk. Edit: Then you must know about the ongoing conversation of the Mayan cultural and spiritual cacao ceremonies being exploited here in the west as well as the exploitation of Yoga and Hinduism. My research of you and your shop supports my “accusations”. But yes, I do not personally know you. Please correct me if I’m wrong and you truly are of Indian, Mayan, and Moroccan descent. Or is the culture and upbringing you speak of, one of appropriating others cultures? I know it’s hard to think outside of our own experience and perspective but we always have the choice to learn and choose to be better. We must not merely “tolerate” other cultures but fully respect them rather than using them for selfish intention and financial gain. And yeah, I do appreciate a great pizza lol (; !! as you have seen from my other reviews, I never leave one star reviews. But I’ll always stand up for what I believe in!

A delightful small coffee shop. A comfortable ambience, and served me the best cup of drip coffee I've had in years.

This is hands down the most AMAZING coffee shop I have ever been to!!! Maurice recommended a wonderful hot cacao drink made from a 3,000 year old recipe. I about died when I took my first sip (in a good way)! All drinks and pastries offered here are of purest intention and energy. The owner Maurice is one of a kind and so incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about his coffee, cacao, and every ingredient used for the drinks and pastries. Majority of the pastries are gluten free and many vegan options. Only the finest coffee beans from Women owned farms are used here. The sugars utilized are date and coconut sugars. Maurice gave me an informative lesson about coffee beans and why light and medium roast coffee cause things like heart palpitations, anxiety and adrenal crashes. He recommended trying only a dark roast for people (like me) sensitive to most coffee and caffeine and explained in detail why that is. I am sad to have only found this shop a day before I leave the area but will be back here in the morning. I wish I could take Maurice and his shop back home with me! Thank you to Maurice and his coffee crew/family!!!

Cute coffee shop in downtown Gulfport. Tables on the sidewalk make a perfect place to get your caffeine fix on.
