We were fans of 790 when they were open in FWB years ago. We've always loved their hurricane salad! We recommend extra dressing on the side and also ask for ranch dressing on the side too. The hint of spice, sweetness and then mixed with ranch..... Heavenly! Java, our server was great! He took awesome care of us! FYI, it was freezing inside, so I'd recommend a sweater. Only odd thing was the music. It was the Watercolor jazz channel from SiriusXM. There is usually a host running the show that talks in between songs. So we had to listen to some guy talking throughout our time there. Also the music would occasionally drop for a few minutes and then come back on. That happened a lot. Other than that, beautiful restaurant, great food and service!
Great lunch specials and price. I had the shrimp remoulade spinach salad which was excellent and my friend had the lettuce wedge salad and seafood gumbo. 👍❤️
Very cute restaurant. Had the cup of gumbo and it was great. 🌶️ on the spice, so most everyone could enjoy. Will go back to try more Louisiana style plates.
Andrew was exceptional as our waiter. It was really nice to meet the owner as we entered. The meals were superb- Highly Recommend 👌 😋

Best gumbo I've ever had, tried all 3 and they were all fantastic! Here on Spring Break with 5 people and everyone loved their meal. Good prices, great service (Jana was awesome), and a great atmosphere, we got seated immediately on a Friday evening. Will definitely be back!
great food, Just left a bit ago! You all should get with Destin Harbor Haulers, we def would come more if you all got with them! We live on holiday isles and use them all the time going to Harbor Tavern

Incredibly slow for food that came out cold and tasted bad. Service was equally bad. Normally I’m less critical but this place warranted an exception. Avoid really at all costs.
This is a new diner to Destin and is conveniently located right on Hwy. 98. I had lunch there and it was good. The fish was fresh, and the green beans were fresh and tasty, not just the usual. The decor was fresh and clean. The service was good, too. Overall, it was a pleasant experience! They have added a happy hour menu that makes it very affordable at night!
Could not get a soda, said soda machine broken. No body knew how to fix it. No apologies or anything. Food took very long time to get. Food was ok. Paid with cash, was supposed to get a discount for using cash instead of a credit card, did not. Will not go back.
First time here. My wife ordered the seared tuna and a cup of seafood gumbo. The tuna was very dry and almost tasteless. I guessed that it had been previously frozen. The manager admitted it was when I spoke to him after the meal although. The waitress told my wife she would it that off the bill when we rejected it. I had the mahi mahi with the shrimp etoufee and yellow rice. The fish was over cooked but wasn’t too bad. The manager told me it was fresh. I ordered a Jack Daniels on the rocks before ordering our meals. When the bill was delivered, I was charged $26 for a Jack Daniels sb (single barrel). I got that fixed. While we were eating, I observed another waiter talking to another couple on some subject, presumably about the menu. During the course of talking with them, the waiter pulled his cell phone from his back pocket, checked it, put it back in his pocket and redirected his attention back to the customer. I refused to describe the employee to the manager. I just told him it was something he needed to address to all of them. Probably will not return to the restaurant.

Pretty place that served delicious food. We had Gumbo and chicken salad. Food was amazing, vibe was great and host was very polite and helpful.
Very slow bartenders and not only us but I others that I was in conversation with. Food quality wasn't horrible but not that great
Small portions and overpriced. The chicken tenders were double what you would pay at a Chic Fil A, or, Slims Chicken. These are made with thigh meat which is great, but the forementioned chains are equal in quality - and they come with a side dish. The quality, and, preparation of the food wasn't the issue, it was simply a bad value.
Another first visit. It's a nice bright place with a lot of space. You feel comfortable not crammed in between tables and chairs. The food is good, as is the service. They have several daily specials at moderate prices.
Gumbo was delicious but disappointed with pasta dish. The pasta was stuck together and not hot, white fish was mushy. The atmosphere was nice and service was fast and pleasant.
