First time there we were first customers, ordered our food and paid but everyone after us got served and left. Turns out she forgot us and took 45 mins just to get breakfast. Second time there I asked for a loaf of Rye bread she said to come back the next day after 12pm. I went back next day but she never made it. I give up on this place it is too unreliable.
So grateful the Sugar Mill had an hour wait cuz we wouldn't have found this wonderful place!! Highlyyyy recommend!! The salted caramel iced latte was incredible! We got a chocolate cream puff, the ruben, and the bratwurst and it was all wonderful. We even bought rolls to take home and make breakfast sandwiches with 🤤
The food is very good! The pastries are VERY good. It is not cheap but you can tell they do not cut corners or use cheap ingredients. You can taste the quality of everything on the menu. You must take a loaf of bread home to enjoy later.
Great German bakery.
I got the chicken panini and my husband had the Reuben. Our son got the grilled cheese, cabbage soup and fruit cup. We shared a cream puff and an apple pastry. The service was fairly quick and friendly. It’s a quirky little house with peacocks behind it. My son enjoyed seeing the birds and playing in the open yard outside. The chicken panini wasn’t what I would call a panini. Now don’t get me wrong, it was good, really good actually but not grilled like a panini more like a grilled chicken sandwich. Very generous serving sizes, fresh bread and hearty ingredients. My husband said the Reuben was super fresh and the best one he has had before. Our son loved the cabbage soup and grilled cheese. Both were very large helpings and tasty. The fruit cup was freshly cut strawberries 🍓. Would totally go back! Unique and fun experience. Lots of pioneer woman dishes too! Super cute.
I love this place! They have a large selection of pastries and food items. Freshly made every time! Excellent.
Homemade food made deliciously with love. Mom, dad and twin teenage boys run the restaurant and you almost get the feeling that you’re eating in their home. Definitely expect to wait for your food, but be patient and gracious towards this family because their food is totally worth the wait! We ordered coffee and two pastries (cream puff) to start (fantastic!) and ordered the Reuben, open-faced tuna, BLT and the spinach pie. We scraped our plates clean - a memorable meal!
The pastries were delicious and the service was friendly.
A very special place. The food is amazing. It is family operated, and it's not for instant gratification. But if you aren't in a rush, your time will be so rewarded! Take home every kind of baked goods. Freeze some. You will be happy that you did.
Wow! Why this cafe isn't completely packed every day, I have no idea! It's incredible! Our party of seven ordered the waffles, stuffed french toast, the Rustic breakfast sandwich, two egg sandwiches on bagels, the sausage gravy and biscuits, and the breakfast bowl with sausage, eggs, and grits. We also tried two of the pastries. Every single item was fantastic! All of their bread, bagel, and pastry products are homemade, and they are INCREDIBLE. The service was lovely and their outdoor covered patio was the perfect location to eat on a warm February morning. We will most certainly return when we are in the area again!
We absolutely love coming! The best kept secret of Deleon springs! The food is out of this world! So fresh! Huge delicious portions! Family owned! A true local gem!
Great little place. We had breakfast - a frittata and a bowl, both were delicious. Oozing w hospitality. We will come back.
Stopped here in the week before Christmas. Coffee was a little bitter, tea was Lipton and a whole bunch of milk added to it before it steeped. The Cinnamon swirl we split was ok. Had hoped for a bit better from a coffee shop.
Phenomenal. Beer is cold, bread is fresh. Don’t come if you’re in a hurry, but do come if you’re hungry! Amazing spot.
Avoid the place if you wanna grab your coffee. And customer service is bad. Lady asked how many shots of espresso do I need and I ordered 2 of them. She did not tell anything about price policy or so, even nothing about that on menu or on the walls. I was waiting my latte 15 MINUTES and I saw how she MICROWAVED ESPRESSO SHOTS! That is crazy!! they CHARGED 10 DOLLARS for that! And when she gave it is there was a sweet whipped cream on top and she even did not ask do I need it or not. And our friend wanted to buy a bottle of water and you have to spend $5 minimum to be able to use your card. That is the most expensive and worst coffee in my life! Stay away!
This place is lovely and the food is delicious.
Stopped by for breakfast. Tried a bagel with eggs, sausage gravy with biscuit and of course coffee. Everything was delicious! They also offer fresh baked goodies.
What a gem! Fresh baked bagel was maybe the best I've ever had in the area. Go for a relaxing breakfast and take some home made pastries home with you.
Love this place! Authentic food at its best. The wait is a little long but absolutely worth it. Hats off the the owners for making it working daily. We will be back. Loved the taste and quality of their food.
We had a great time hanging out here on a busy day. Staff and customers were all very friendly. If you don’t have patience or are in a hurry you might try some other place. If you do, the unique items are worth the wait.
