I am so disappointed in this place. It used to be on Point!! But the quality has just really gone down. Tables were dirty when we walked in and they were NOT busy. Had to ask for them to be cleaned. Ordered a salted caramel latte and a vanilla cappuccino. No flavoring in either one, and for $6 a pop, it should taste like heaven. NO flavoring, no sugar, no nothing… and the cappuccino was a latte. The food was decent. My husband ordered the Brie and Thank you sandwich. Processed turkey on the bread but the cheese and bread was tasty. How hard is it to buy fresh quality meat? I got the lox and bagel. It was also decent but nothing to write home about. I am sad to say that I will not be returning to this iconic Rehoboth landmark again. Ill head to anyone of the other quality coffee shops. So disappointing!
Hopped in here on a whim on a rainy Saturday morning off-season. We were greeted by friendly staff and a case full of beautiful pastries. It was hard to decide what to get, so I made two choices--blueberry crumble and cherry gallette. My wife got the tomato mozzarella cruffin and daughter the apple cruffin. Coffee was good, food was good, staff was courteous, and the ambiance was nice as well.
The food was excellent, and so was the service.
I can’t speak to the coffee but daaaang the pastries are fantastic.
The Point Coffee Shop & Bakery is a great place to get a bite to eat. You can sit down, or grab & go. The staff is very friendly, & will take the time to get to know you, & your preferences. They have great Coffee, & comfort food, as well as, healthy salads & sandwiches. That's why this is a top pick, for me, as a local. Genuine people with great customer service, & a good attitude is a rarity these days, but this place has heart.
Great selection of coffees, pastries, and sandwiches made fresh on the premises! A must stop every time in area.
The absolute best sticky bun and coffee
Wonderful little cafe & coffee roastery at the entrance to Rehoboth Ave. from Rt. 1. Affordable, tasty coffee, lovely staff, and enough scrumptious pastries to induce diabetes. They also sell coffee beans & local canned jam. Relaxed atmosphere & affordable coffee. Strongly recommend!
Yummy pastry! Tastes homemade and I'm sure it is!…. Returned here 3 years after the first visit and greatly enjoyed the coffee and sticky bun with lots of gooey sugary syrup on it. It was a great start to a day that included the Cape May Ferry.
The quiche was ok, too over done for our liking but the pastries were to die for! So delicious. The staff is super friendly as well..we'll definitely go again
First time here. I had the quiche Lorraine & my wife had veggie quiche. Both were very hearty & tasted great. I had an iced coffee & she had hot both were very flavorful. The bakery goodies looks appetizing and we split a coffee cake which was about 5 inches square.
Amazing! The coffee here is great and the pocket croissant is sure not to be missed! The wait to order however was longer than i would have liked, but it was worth it in the end.
I ordered a egg, sausage, and cheese bagel. They gave me a spinach, sausage, and cheese bagel no egg thus ruining my morning completely. Didn’t even want spinach. Also their green tea sucked.
My second trip to these phenomenal, fun , and amazing coffee shop. The coffee is delicious, the food is so good and the atmosphere is perfect for a chat, or even a business meeting. I am in love with this place, and always recommend it to anyone at home that is planning a trip to Rehoboth Beach!
Update: Below you'll see my review from last year. We were in town recently and stopped by, hoping there'd been a change. There was, and it was wonderful. I was told that the primary culprit of the poor customer service was no longer working there. People were saying "thank you" and "please". People were actually smiling. Somehow even the food - which was really always great - tasted better, fresher. Maybe it was the low-stress environment to enjoy breakfast. On our way out, the person working the front said, "hope to see you soon". I assured that they would. My girlfriend and I have been going here for four or five years, primarily because the coffee is great, as is the oatmeal and the egg sandwiches, as well as the pastries and other baked goods. However, I think we've decided to stop going. The woman who works the front counter, who may or may not be the manager, is completely obnoxious and treats her customers horribly. It's not unusual to walk in there and hear her screaming. Yes, screaming. There have been times where you can actually see the people in line looking at each other rolling their eyes or just flat out laughing at the absurdity of her behavior. We used to think it was because it was crowded and maybe the stress level was high but today we went in there and we were the only ones in line and all she did was yell at us. Yeah the food is good, but there are a lot of places in Rehoboth with good food. We'll go to one of them next time.
Got some custom frap coffee's and breakfast, everything was made to order, next time I'm threw around breakfast time, gonna stop in for some more good food and atmosphere.
people seemed nice, and good outdoor seating, but the inside is super stuffy and warm and the drinks and food were fine but not good. they have oat milk though, although i’d go somewhere else for a tastier ice chai in future.
The Point is one if the best bakery I have ever been to. Their bread pudding and Cinnabon is out of this world. We stop here every weekend.
Great coffee and breakfast! Stop and eat here!!! Thanks Point 😃
Great local spot for some fresh food. The coffee and the pastries were top knotch. They have breakfast food as well as sandwichs and salads. Check then out. I believe they are open until 2pm.
