I was visiting New Haven by myself for the day and decided to stop in. The owner was SO KIND! The food was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough! I would give it 1,000,000 stars if I could.

Very nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. I got a lemon poppy muffin and a ice coffee. The muffin was made in house and was the best I have had in a while.

It saddens me to write this review since I’ve been here a couple of times and have had amazing service normally this would be a 5 star review for me but my experience with the food today has me very upset. I bought a bacon egg and cheese as well as a hot chocolate. 1. I never asked for pepper yet there seems to be a whole ton of pepper on my sandwich and the bacon wasn’t cooked enough in my opinion, But my concern is more with the pepper. Last time I came it was the same thing but because I don’t come here often, so I forgot that they automatically add pepper. It ruined the whole sandwich and did finish it so that was a waste of my money and time. I could have went elsewhere but I decided to come here bc of their great service and quality of food. 2. My hot chocolate was piping hot. I had to drive to Westport for work and after 40 min it still wasn’t cooled down. I really didn’t get to enjoy my breakfast how I planned to do it was very frustrating. I guess my point in writing this review is to suggest the obvious. Can you please make it a custom to ask if customers want pepper? Also, try to not make the hot drinks so piping hot where you can’t have it for another hour. And this is with me blowing it to cool it down too. Sorry if I sound rude in this review but this bothered me too much for me to not say anything.

Super friendly, helped explain vegan and allergy friendly options. There were not a ton of these but I'm just glad they take it seriously. Good coffee and biscotti.

I stopped in right before closing and the staff were so nice. They made a grilled cheese for my daughter despite being ready to close. The staff were all so friendly, food was delicious, and the cafe has a cute atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Edit: so I was not indecisive at all. I asked for a single espresso for here. You gave me a long espresso in a to go cup. Not only that but you made it in a double wand instead of a single. You had for here cups because I after made the comment you offered to out it for here. So that's a blatant lie. And yes you did moke me after I left. Like I said, google what an espresso is because what you served was not that. Just went from there now ask for a espresso for here and give me a large espresso long in a to go cup. I shrugged it off. But then I left and my friend stayed and they started to insult my intelligence on espresso maybe they should Google what an espresso looks like instead of having people a hot cup of boiling black water.

This place was great. They used real fruit for their juices and smoothies which was impressive in comparison to many other coffee shops. I also had a breakfast sandwich that was fresh and tasty. Nothing seemed pre made or microwave heated. Also impressive. The decor was hip and eco chic cool. I liked the giant bouncy ball chairs. Fun. Despite getting several things wrong and mixed up, due to the loud coffee shop noises combined with the plexiglass germ barrier thing ( it's well past time to take that bad boy down, or give customers microphones to order into) , the staff were all really nice and welcoming.

Went here once after staying the night in the city following a concert. Coffee was well made, Belgian waffles were also great. I would go again if I had the chance.

Very cute cafe with a comfortable interior. They have enormous biscotti cookies that were delicious. The staff were cheerful and seemed the have a fun dynamic among each other, which was nice to see. Would definitely return!

Great fresh squeezed juices, coffee's and teas. The cafe is very quaint and clean. The reason I couldn’t give it 5 starts is the gentleman behind the counter. He is very LOUD and obtrusive and interrupts customers when they are giving him their order. He also makes remarks like “you’ve got to be kidding me” when an order comes in online and he disagrees with it. I came in at 0815 on a Saturday morning with my book and it was crazy how loud and rude this fellow was. I finished my things and left. In the future I will order to go. The art in the cafe is beautiful and it could be a very comfortable place but my man behind the counter is a domineering force of negativity. They should keep him in the back.
