What a truly lovely cafe. Their food is excellent as is their coffee. They also have a separate space set aside for students to work and study. If you are looking for a quick breakfast or lunch, look no further. Also a good place for longer conversations with friends.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches & top tier drinks. The ambiance of the interior decor is second to none as well.

First time here, and walking into the Busy Bean there is a sense of walking into a posh coffee shop that could be located somewhere else besides downtown New Britain, CT. Nice music, nice scents, and average coffee. The large table in the middle of the main area doesn't exactly scream comfortable or cozy or even welcoming. It's all very nice, yes, but the Bougainvillea plants on either side of the door, in their large pots, are just sad and don't appear to be cared for. No small paper menus for anyone who has trouble seeing past the glare of the well-lit menu overhead. And when asked for one, the staff seem disconnected and unable or unwilling to assist without being prompted. Most of the sitting area in the back is "reserved" for groups, conferences, and students; but, again still not very comfortable or cozy looking. Overall, I am not impressed with this eatablishment and the average coffee especially after paying to park. This place would be better and make more money as a coffee cart with bagels.

First time at this establishment and having mixed feelings. It tries so hard to be a trendy cafe with bright lights and nice furnishings...but it was empty of customers. The myriad menu items illuminated high behind the counter were difficult to read and when I asked for a written menu, to accommodate a simple disability problem, I was dismissed outright. The atmosphere is just cold, a parody of eclectic atmosphere in a poverty ridden downtown area of a city that has no walking traffic and no bustling area business that employees people for whom the exaggerated prices and complicated extreme concoctions beckon. The coffee was average. I paid for parking and got average coffee from an employee who never greeted me and never smiled or asked to help me.

So far I have been here a couple of times and the service is always great and inviting. The people working here are kind and courteous. The bagels are delicious! I am a bit overwhelmed by the amount of choices but the people at the register have been patient with me every time and walked me through the choices. Definitely helped to calm me lol.

Horrible customer service I was waiting at this location for 20 mins at the front ready to order and a guy walked past me two times didn't acknowledge me. And there were two people working and no sense of customer service.

I absolutely love stopping at Cafe Busy Bean for the warm cheddar cheese bagel. At first I was only getting strawberry cream cheese on my bagel but I discovered pumpkin cream cheese with plain cream cheese. Delicious!!!! On top of GREAT food the owners and staff are amazing. Each time I visit the cafe I feel like family. I can't remember the woman who works mornings and is always smiling, she always says my order as I approach the counter. It's things like this that make me revisit places. I also wanted to point out one day visiting the New Britain location I was witness to an area homeless man getting a drink and being treated just like anyone else that walked through the door. Now this warmed my heart. As I've seen the opposite when I've been at other businesses within town. Thank you Cafe Busy Bean for ALL THE YOU DO!!!
