Why is everyone at Starbucks!!! This place has truly great coffee

The ladies at the counter were very friendly and patient with our party of 5 ( kids trying to decide ☺️went a bit longer than expected) the products were fresh and delicious.
Super cool spot with outstanding coffee. My scone was just so so. Service was very efficient if a little abrupt. Reasonably priced, definitely worth a visit.
This is meant more for manager of hamden CG. Today at 945 a.m. , sat apr 22 there was a line out the door with only 1 worker serving. She was doing a great job, inspite. Why wasnt there at least 2 workers on a busy sat morning?
I ordered 2 lattes here which were served to me and my girlfriend at room temperature. The barista re-made it for us. However, the end product was watery and tasteless, so I dumped it out. Waste of money. I've been to this place before and at another location as well. I'm not impressed at all. Both places are noisy and I don't appreciate walking into an establishment where the employees are going back and forth (loudly) in Portuguese. So between the poorly made drinks, environment, staff, and no break in the price, you earned yourself a 1 star.

Wow.. I've never been so dupped by the Google review score.. we tried this place while traveling, trying to avoid Starbucks and support a more local coffee shop. We ordered a latte and a cortado, both of which tasted horrible. Such a bad burnt after taste. Maybe we're the exception, but I would be cautious and think twice before going here. We certainly will not be returning :(
Wanted something different for a evening treat. This was the right decision. Tried the Raspberry and Apple coffee cake, Mocha Banana Hot and the Chicken Pasta Salad. It was a good night!
The new common ground in congress Street it is a good replacement for blue state. Friendly staff and fast service. Good variety of pastry. Unfortunately, as blue state they burn the coffee. The water is so hot that will burn your tongue and make acid the coffee. A cappucino taste like a burn latte. There is no healthy option for breakfast super sugary overnigght oatmeal and low quality yogurt in the parfait. However if there isn't any other option for coffee it is the last resort. Hope they improve with time.
This is my go-to place in the greater New Haven area. Great coffee and wonderful biscotti.

This is the most wonderful coffee spot. The barista’s know what they’re doing, the machine is timed correctly and the beans are roasted here daily! The pastries are delicious and there’s a wide variety. If you’re looking for something else; there’s yogurt, fruit, overnight oats chicken salad, chicken pasta salad etc. Something for everyone. The cafe has seating inside and out. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. Yes, this is my favorite east coast go to place!!!!
Maybe don't play bad dance music on Saturday morning at 7:30 am...
Great local coffee roaster & shop with good customer service. Have a diverse selection of coffee, fruity drinks and baked goods. Oddly-satisfying wood theme with the inside aesthetic.
Best coffee you can get in Hamden. Prices are very affordable, quality is excellent!
