My first time here was very early in the morning when they opened so I didnt see much of a selection of pastries but I did get a coffee and it was pretty good.

Totally love this place. It's a very LGBTQ+ friendly cafe with great service and greta coffee. Had an awesome first date here, and will definitely return. Would rate 10 stars if I could!

Love Rumors European Cafe on Mill Plan Road, Danbury. We have been a fan of Peter's from before he opened the cafe, when was coffee vending at local events. Rumors is quaint; it's inviting and arm chair comfortable. The sounds and the aromas of each coffee creation lull you into a peaceful, satisfied state of being. The coffee is wonderful. There is something for everyone and every taste here! The baked goods offered are fresh and delicious. There is casual seating outdoors for those non-precipitating days, if you wish. And, there are boardgames inside if you like! Easy to make new friends at Rumors; sit & chat a while! And, oh yeah, Peter and his staff: super friendly... and that's no rumor, that's a fact! Try my fave, " The Classy Lady" ... yum!

Over all great place. Coffee is delicious, they have games to play while there. Its a cute small little shop, but the atmosphere was alittle weird to me. Still great place, but just felt awkward being there. Might not be for me, but im sure many others will enjoy

This is a cafe with a nice ambience, small but homelike. Service is always great, the staff is very friendly. However, the coffee can be iffy. Usually get the cafe au lait or a latte, simple drinks but those don't always taste the same. The bakery stuff is good, chocolate chip muffin and coffee cake are definitely worth a try.

Amazing cup of coffee and the atmosphere is what you would expect it to be in a movie. Such a cool place to chill and enjoy, or grab to go. Absolutely love the wifi password!!!

Love it. Recommended to me by a coworker and almost immediately became my regular coffee stop. Specialty drinks are all pretty delicious. Large iced coffees come in a tub for those who drink it year round and multiple dairy options are available with milk, cream, and nut choices. The pastries are also tasty with vegan and gluten free options. The staff is friendly, funny, and knows how to get you caffeinated. Between all that and the atmosphere it's exactly what I picture in my head when I think of a local coffee shop. Most stand out moment was being asked if my drink was too dark. I don't like a lot of milk so little things like that make a difference to my experience.

Stopped in while visiting from out of town for the weekend after some family happened to find this nice little coffee shop while exploring the Danbury area. Their coffee and pastries, absolutely delicious. So many choices and variations made it so difficult to make a selection, which isn’t really a bad thing! It was so good we stopped in for a 2nd trip prior to heading home. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping in here. The Danbury community has a diamond in the rough!!

A wonderful place to have delicious coffee and baked goods. The place is great for a meeting and sharing with friends. The cafe carries products from the bakery Daily Fare in Bethel

Found it easy to get in on a weekend morning after similar spots down the road in OOB had waits up to an hour. Plenty of choices and manager was friendly, humorous and very accommodating. Will definitely visit again and have recommended it to others.

Rumors is such a great spot in Danbury! Every time my BF and I are shopping or nearby we make it a point to stop in. The coffee & teas are great! The first time we stopped in the person helping us was so lovely and we had a delicious mini banana bread loaf. They have a cup size called the bucket (we still compare other large drink sizes to the bucket)! If you're looking for a cute tea/coffee shop with small pastries stop into Rumors!
