VERY sweet waitresses and the food was really quite good. Kids had Mac and cheese and a corn dog with fries (the fries were perfect). Husband and I had Reuben and guac bacon burger. Both were very good. Only small thing was my burger was well done and not medium. We were way way too hungry to send it back but the entire meal was excellent. Stop by here for sure.

This is a beautiful restaurant with fast & friendly service and excellent food. The locally-sourced hamburgers are absolutely the best. If you are near Walden, stop in. You'll be glad you did!
Absolutely loved this place! OMG...you HAVE TO TRY THE CARROT CAKE! Meat is all fresh and locally sourced. Proces are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. Wife even wanted a well done burger. It was super moist and full of flavor. Great jem in Walden
The food is average, but so thankful for a restaurant to be open in this area and the staff works hard to accommodate all the travelers (especially on the weekends). Thank you!

10.6.2022 Here tonight and had the salad with crispy chicken it was awesome so much better thank you for changing it. Only suggestion would be less cucumbers maybe 3-4 and I personality did not eat all the larger carrots, just too much to eat and there are carrots in the salad mix. Great job!!!!!!! Service was Excellent

This is my first time staying in Walden and it's been pretty great! I tried the Blackened Swai (which I had never even heard of) and it truly is my new favorite fish. The way they prepared it was not only tasty, it was juicy and perfectly cooked. It was served with fresh green beans cooked with bacon,yum!! Our table also enjoyed the chicken fried steak, sweet potato fries, onion rings, mashed potatoes with white gravy, and the grilled chicken salad. It was all delicious and nobody left hungry. They also make a pretty great Bloody Mary. The staff are friendly and attentive. We will return for sure!

I have enjoyed River Rock Cafe for 10 years! Whether I dine in or grab takeout on my way further in the mountains! Just 2 days ago I grabbed a to go order - peered to make sure I had what I needed. Requested a bit more lettuce and voila! Came quickly - with a smile. The menu has my personal fav - sweet potato wedges! Great customer service, dependable food, and variety.
