Combo of food to order, wine shop, and 'grocery' store. This is one of the only on-mountain options for some basics like milk, bread, and eggs, but you'll find that you can't buy the basic version of anything at the Wild Plum. They stock more specialty brands which are more expensive everywhere and then marked up further given the location/convenience/scarcity. We visited WP a few times during out visit. WP is a good place for a treat but, but if you can swing the trip to Safeway (off mountain) for your basic goods you'll save some $.

Update as of 2023- This place has gone downhill in regard to service. It used to be a fun place to go and hang out, have a beer, and socialize with the friendly staff. Now they simply have staff that hardly know what they are doing, don't talk, and give you cold drinks that should be hot. For the prices, I will no longer go there. The concept is great, but the execution is no longer there. It might be good to hire people invested in Steamboat to keep the reason people come to Steamboat alive. Bummer. This place has a great selection of everything you need including beer and wine. All of their products are quality which is why you do pay a bit more. Their made on-sight food is tasty, and every time we've been in there, which is a lot, the staff is nothing but helpful and friendly. My kids go by themselves all the time there as well, and are treated respectfully.

Wait service was terrible. I had to ask three times for my coffee order and still didn’t get it. Just left out of frustration

Need something. Little convenient store. Need a beer or crave an icecream or candy bar. There you go

If you in Steamboat this is a great place to stop in and get a bite to eat. During my 5 day stay near by, I stop in once a day. Met Koe Wetzel there during the 2019 Texas Music Fest.

My first online order in Wild plum was absolutely fantastic! 😊 They have such delicious burgers, everything was fresh and for a reasonable price! Much better than all the "well-known" places in downtown who downsized their quality and went up with prices! Wild Plum is my new favourite place to eat. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to try your pizzas!

Cool grocery store with a nice wine selection. Everyone was very helpful and nice. The prices were a little better than I expected for the location, given this is really the only store of its kind near the mountain hotels.

Just walked in ~15 minutes ago to order a coffee and there was no one at the counter or anywhere in the store. I waited about 5 minutes and yelled “hello” several times into the kitchen, but no one showed up. There’s no bell to ring or anyway to get anyones attention. It’s not bad service, it’s just straight up no service. But plenty of other good options in town for coffee.

Terrific menu and outstanding wine selection, try the beet and arugula salad!
