Ordered beef and red curry paid $17. Overpriced, small portions with very little protein and overcooked. Potatoes were undercooked. Atmosphere was "greasy diner" and service was non-existant. Unfortunately, cannot recommend.

Really good Thai in an unassuming location. Why go to a fast food place when you can support this local business on your way to monarch pass?

Been to Thailand a few times and this is as authentic as it gets for Colorado!

Don’t be fooled by the parking lot— this place is a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed the spring rolls and pad thai. Would come again!

Definitely our go to spot for the best Thai food in the area! They are always ready quick with the most delicious fare. If you’re coming off the mountain or finishing a hike, they always have your order ready with a smile. I wait to leave review, but I’ve been here over a handful of times now, and I’m just always so impressed and can’t speak highly enough of the food and hospitality. It’s just what the doctor ordered after an outdoor adventure :-)

Edit: someone at this restaurant tried to rip me off for $130. It was so bad I had to get the police involved. I guess someone needed a $130 dollar tip. Food is great, just use cash.

I'm disappointed. After all the reviews I was expecting more. The Tom yum was lacking that tartness I love so much. And the larb moo was, well, just boring - it lacked shallots, crushed rice, and cilantro. And I asked for "almost Thai spicy" and it came to me with almost zero spice. Disclaimer, I've lived in issan and prefer my foods issan style - the food from here seems more like what you would find in a bankok hotel restaurant.

1st time here I was a tad skeptical, I have the worst luck with fastfood ANYWHERE. Everything seemed SOOO expensive ( then again who hasn't gone up in price) hoping this place was better then the new, REALLY EXPENSIVE , thai place IN Salida. It was super fast, so again I thought...of crud.. She probably just microwaved some shituff n put it in a container. I was taking it to go. I went to my vehicle , n to much surprise it was PHENOMENAL!! SO MUCH BETTER then the new Thai place in Salida... We actually had VEGGIES S IN OUR chicken fried rice. ( Yes..the new Thai place only gives u a cple pieces of chicken n a whole container of tasteless rice nooooo veggies!) The egg rolls n ragoons were super tasty , fresh. It only cost 37$... Compared to $71 .. same fucqing order,,, HALF THE PRICE!!! Some people say..u get what u pay for...I lucked out. I'll be returning. Good job for being the older store with still.. better product n prices.

We are on a road trip and picked this restaurant as a lunch stop based on the rating. So we are also leaving a rating as a token of thanks to those who led us here. Food is authentic and tasty. Pad See Eaw is the best we had in USA. Staff are very friendly. We are so happy to have nice Asian food during this trip.

Great food and a large seating area inside, plus take out if needed. Will be back! Ps- if you want spicy, you might have to ask. What we had was exactly spicy. Great place to eat!

"Thai food for people who don't know what Thai food is" comes to mind. It's not bad but given that there are now two outstanding Thai restaurants in town, there's no reason to go here. Just drive another five minutes and pay a little more for a vastly better meal. The atmosphere is very much that of a road stop, which isn't necessarily bad. But the food is essentially Thai-ish food, prepared like cheap (Americanized) Chinese food. That kind of preparation works well enough for Chinese food, but is simply insufficient for Thai food, so it comes out very bland. Which is the one thing Thai food isn't allowed to be.

Hadn't eaten here before, but always passed this place on my way to Monarch Mountain. Finally stopped in for drunken noodles after a long ski day. Excellent food and excellent service! Definitely on my list now for best eating places in the Salida area. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite stops on the way home from Monarch. Beef pho and egg rolls for the win! Haven't had something there I didn't like.

Great pad thai, my daughter loves the egg rolls. Tea was a nice surprise. They really care about what they are serving. Wonderful to find in the middle of the mountains.
