This was an ok place. The coffee was good diner coffee, the food was premade and not customizable. No real good choices for people with food allergies like me. I ended up with the only thing I could eat which was overnight oats. It was thick and filing. My husband had the meat lovers burrito, but it didn't have everything in it that it was supposed to. We left full, but weren't overly impressed. We would go back, but just for drinks in the future.

Great coffee, great food and a great staff who are always super pleasant and helpful. Also, their new chef is great. The gluten-free lemon lavender muffin is to die for.

This is a really cool deli. Food is amazing however they don’t serve any diet soda. If they served diet soda this would have been a 5 star review.

Didn't get any food here, but the coffee and Chai tea were fantastic. Well flavored and nice and hot on such a cold day.

Salto cares deeply about making excellent coffee drinks. Three weeks in row had excellent lattes and drip. Better prepared and with more flavor than say Boxcar, or Alpine down in Boulder. Pre-made sandwiches and wraps, as well as pastries are all good too but I'll be driving out of my way for their coffee all year long.

We stopped in after a hike up at Brainard lake rec area. Coffee hit the spot after being up in the snow for a few hours. Friendly staff. Great place to chill with a hot beverage.

Ranks as one of the best lattes I’ve ever had! We ordered the caramel latte with oat milk, and the espresso brownie was legit! I’d drive back just for the coffee!

Love Salto’s coffee regularly (the cold brew on nitro is my most recent favorite), but also really liking the food from Adventure Food Works that’s now coming out of their kitchen! The turkey sandwich at lunch was delicious and will be back to try the others. Pro tip: get the breakfast burrito smothered with their delicious green chili! They don’t skimp on the bacon which was a bonus!

Have always loved Salto for the drinks and atmosphere, but happy to see they are relaunching food again! The new partnership with Adventure Food Works for breakfast burritos and sandwiches is GREAT- morning and afternoon options are totally covered, and everything is delicious. The vegetarian options are my new go-to in town!

I've been a long time frequent customer and this place has always been an absolute hidden gem, always worth the drive up from Denver. Unfortunately they recently overhauled their food menu, partnering with another place and it's very middling and forgettable to say the least. Took away a lot of the charm and can't say I'm excited to visit anymore. The coffee, drinks, and pastries are still excellent but please do something about the food! It's such a letdown.

The sandwiches are now pre-made and not particularly good for the price. We will not be returning for lunch.

It's a nice place, coffee is good + made with care. It looks expensive but I'm always surprised how pricey it is every time I go. I'm not sure their is a guest wifi which would be neat.

Best little coffee shop in these mountains. The espresso is delicious and the milk is always steamed just right. I love the inside outside fireplaces for a cozy atmosphere. The pie is delicious and they even have GF options.
