I was SO excited to come here. We were passing through and I read the prior reviews and knew this place was gonna be awesome! I read that the place opened at 0545 and we were gonna be passing by around 0600 so the timing was perfect! Unfortunately we rolled up right around 0600 to see the food trailer being pulled out. I remained hopeful and we asked if they were open yet and they said just a few mins. About 10 mins later we were told they were ready. It was now around 0610. My son son asked the what donuts they had and we were told they didn’t have any donuts yet. We were both so disappointed. I couldn’t believe this place would open and not have actually made any of the food on the menu. I noticed a few scones from the day before in the display case so I bought one of those and ordered two coffees and a hot chocolate for my kiddo. It took about 5 more minutes for the coffee. When it was handed to me I suspected it was an Americano (espresso and hot water) instead of brewed coffee like we ordered. I asked if it was a an Americano and he confirmed it was. In their defense it was really good but not what I ordered. Woulda been nice to be told this when I ordered. Any saving grace here was that my son loved the hot chocolate. I REALLY wanted to like this place and wish I had the same experience everyone else had but left extremely disappointed. We went down to Lamar afterwards and went to an old school donut shop which was a much better experience. I’m sure this place has great food, but I’m still flabbergasted they hadn’t made any actual donuts by 0620 when they advertise being open at 0545. This delay set the rest of our drive home 20 minutes behind schedule. Maybe I’ll try it again the next time we drive through, but it will be much later in the day next time.
Awesome little food truck and dining room, great food and great prices. Perfect for a road trip stop!
The Monte Cristo and Blackberry Italian Soda were fabulous. The kids enjoyed the grilled cheese and quesadilla.
Ordered two sausage burritos and they were decent sizes. The taste wasn’t bad. However, it totally lacked the sausage. Didn’t find a piece of sausage until the end of the burrito and it was the only one. Just so disappointing.
A fantastic treat that I always look forward to anytime I’m passing through town. Great coffee, yummy baked treats, and a rotating menu of delicious breakfast and lunch items. Until next time!💕
The breakfast burrito was delicious! I can't have dairy, so their fresh made food and knowledge of allergies set my mind at ease. Great place to stop when passing by on I-70!
Thank you for a delicious latte and Monte Cristo. Both tasty foods for the body and soul. And thanks for being so gracious making food 7 minutes before you closed for this tired traveling nurse. Made my day
4.5 stars. Tasty breakfast and donuts.
We had the roast beef sandwich and grilled cheese both were spectacular! Fresh bread and high quality ingredients. Each meal came with a chocolate cookie that was to die for. Perfect crisp without being over cooked
Friendly, simple, delicious! Excellent breakfast burrito, stop by!
Pretty good food and coffee. Cute little truck and great to support small businesses
I'd like bigger portions, but everything I've tried is excellent!
The Italian sandwich was tasty but it was tiny! (About the size of a half piece of bread) Also tried the breakfast burrito and the tortilla was a weird consistency but the filling was good. If your hungry order two sandwiches
Friendly service, wonderful food, fun family stop on our road trip.
Great paninis, can’t wait to come back for breakfast on our next road trip! Love finding a local place to eat at instead of fast food chains.
Berry Jam was delicious, food was great, amazing customer service. Had breakfast with eggs and sausage, Brazilian coffee was worth the choice over other establishments.
My husband and I stopped by and got coffee and donuts, they were all amazing! The Americano was smooth and flavorful, just what I was looking for. The glazed twist and little Johns were to die for! The cinnamon roll was delightful! We will definitely be stopping by again!
We were taking an impromptu road trip, and looked up Lunch in Limon. We saw the listing for this place, and thought it would be interesting. Best thought I had all week. If you are going past Limon, plan on stopping here. Fresh made sandwiches and yummy cookies!!
I was delighted to stumble upon this haven a great food and love while traveling through Colorado. The food is great. I had a breakfast burrito that hit the spot and the glazed donut twist is to die for! The conversion of the old garage is just lovely and so very welcoming! You can feel the love in it and the message of the truck inviting you to help feed others makes your heart feel warm as much as your tummy!
Great little bakery and sandwich place. Stopped here on the way from Colorado springs to the grandparents in western Kansas. Had great reviews. At about 1pm we got two of the last donuts - oh my the glazed and chocolate were finger licking good! Turkey sandwiches were made with homemade bread and so yummy. Got an Arnold Palmer that was tasty, and a cookie and chips comes with each sandwich! The prices are decent for the quality. The owner had his two young boys working there and they were excellent at service - very professional! They cook it in a food truck but there's also a little restaurant next to the truck with seating, cute old timey decor, kids puzzles and books, and a bathroom. Def recommend this place! Stop here.
