Don’t sleep on this place. The lines can be long but it is worth it!! Harpoon smoothie was perfection. Iced hazelnut coffee was a great alternative for my husband, to Starbucks nitro cold brew… may even be better with its coffee ice. 🤫 Working man burrito…….. just get it. You won’t regret. The atmosphere was awesome and fun.

This might be the best coffee shop ever. The staff have the best personalities, the knick knacks you can buy are hilarious. And the vegan burrito was really good. 10/10 for a coffee shop with a personality.

Wonderful facility, great food, and amazing staffing! My family has a thing for stopping at local coffee places when we are on trips and when we stopped here everything was great. It got busy quick but the service was really good. Lovely energy.

Dropped in from out of town, set up my computer and experienced the great vibe of locals and out of towners come through. Staff is incredibly friendly to everyone! They catch up with the locals and make great conversation and handle everyone with joy and respect! Great vibe, stop in and visit them! Yes the coffee and food is great!

Great drinks. Subpar food. The bacon lover sandwich had at most one slice of bacon (probably just half a slice) and was almost flavorless. The veggie burrito had a really great flavor in cream cheese but everything else in the burrito was bland and dry.

Do yourself a favor and stop here instead of the chain coffee place. I stopped here whenever I drive through Grand Junction and it’s always such a treat!

Unreal coffee and pastries with absolutely unreal workers. Immediately upon walking in, they’ll have you stoked to be there, and laughing and cussing in good fun. The latte was, I sh*t you not, the best latte i’ve ever had in my life. My man pulled a god shot just for me. And the banana bread?? Don’t tell my mom I said this, but it was better than hers. AND it came grilled AND buttered for no extra charge. This spot is absolutely b*tchin. I will be driving all the way back to GJ just for this coffee.

This is the coffee place everyone needs to visit! Yes, you need to get out of your car, and yes, you will be rewarded with one of the best cups of coffee you have ever experienced. This was my first time visiting Octopus Coffee, and it's like you walked into "Cheers", they actually hollered out "good morning, welcome in!" and everyone had big smiles, this is the coffee shop energy I am used to and appreciate when I go somewhere! The atmosphere is great, tons of merch with quirky quotes and fun notes. They roast their own coffee beans, I waited to write this review the day after my visit so I could tell about the fresh roasted beans as well. Fresh. Fresh. Yes, I said it twice, and it's because they were THAT fresh! I mean, I couldn't have gotten them any fresher unless I roasted them myself (which I do sometimes) so I'm aware of how fresh roasted coffee should taste, and this my friends is glorious! If you're looking for an exceptional cup of Joe, a welcoming and funky vibe, along with a tasty (maybe even vegan) home baked treat, you need to check out Octopus Coffee! Totally worth getting out of the car for, you deserve it!

adorable shop! lots of fun things to look at. staff is so joyful and exciting to be around. truly authentic REAL people; didn't feel like I was here just to get coffee and go. double shot of decaf espresso was not great but otherwise, a fantastic experience. would definitely return to enjoy the staff, food, and other coffee options

Real cool, chill staff who are all pretty engaging and chipper. Sometimes you walk in a coffee shop and you get the obligatory hum-drum "Hi, what can I get you?" Nothing wrong with this, per se. But the Octopus team on the day I was there, a Monday even, they were super friendly and matched my level of conversational gusto. Had I been less chatty, my guess is they still would have been equally awesomely personable, just less chatty (to match me). I think that's pretty cool! Oh, and my Americano was just lovely. Thanks, Octopus Coffee Peepz. I will always make you my coffee shop when I am in town THURSDAYS thru Mondays (I corrected days after seeing response with correct CLOSED days). :o)

My husband and I stopped in here for a quick bfast and we will definitely be back on our next visit. The staff is SO upbeat, sweet, welcoming — I’ve never felt such a warm, positive vibe from a group of people before. You can tell they really love working there, which I love to see because it says a lot about the business. The shop is funky and eclectic, lots of fun stuff to look at and purchase. I got a chai & they use fresh spices for it, not just a tea bag. It was delicious! We each had a vegan bfast burrito & it was the perfect hearty meal for a chilly day. We also loved the strawberry oat pastry that was both gluten free and vegan. It’s nice that they have options for everyone! If we lived on this side of the state, it would be our go-to spot. We’ll stop in whenever we are in town though!

This place is amazing! Sight, sound and smell are stimulated all at once when you walk in. The chill music hits you at the same time as the smell of coffee, and shortly after you’re happily greeted with a cheery “good morning”. As you take in the sounds and smells your eyes start to settle on the eclectic decor. From humorous socks and dish towels to nature themed mugs, take time to read the various items as they are sure to bring a smile to your face. I highly recommend sitting inside facing the window to take in the mountainous view and maybe play one of their board games available. I got the oatmeal and a tea, both were delicious. If you’re in Grand Junction, be sure to check them out! You won’t be disappointed.
