So close to perfection. If only the workflow could be consistent, sometimes you see shots that could be put up against any artisan coffee shop while others times.. a waterfall of espresso likely to identify as a poor americano. Not sure if the owner reads these but Time your grinder to always deliver 18 grams. Evenly Distribute the grinds prior to tamping and then pull your shot. Try 18g in and 36g out in ~30 seconds. TL;DR. Likely best in the area, get a latte with any syrup to hide the pour shots quality routinely pulled.
Hipster coffee house cafe with limited menu and high prices. Some gluten free items. Toast is served dry with no butter or jam. Nice spot, if that's what you're looking for. We were looking for a full breakfast before a full day of driving. This was not the place.
As a local of Glenwood Springs, I love the Bluebird. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable and proudly serves our community and visitors. Great coffee and scones!
Enjoyed my visit. Food and service were both good.
Super cute! The food was amazing and there is so much artwork on display. Everyone was super nice and helpful.
We stopped into this cozy spot on our way to the Glenwood Springs Hot Springs Pool. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and excellent coffee. Welcoming environment and a very friendly staff. The salmon quiche was unique and delicious. The fruit cup was probably one of the best I’ve ever had, which is kind of crazy in April!
Great breakfast. Great coffee. Reasonably priced. 100% will come back again and again.
Awesome breakfast bagel! Best gluten free bagel made by a local bakery.
Healthy, quality food. Great coffee. Takes Apple Pay, Cash App. Tremendous community asset. New ownership is wonderful and works hard to create a welcoming environment.
Used to be good, but now totally woke. Trans flags everywhere. Conservatives clearly not welcome and the staff does not hide that fact. So sad.
Food is okay but this is not how you make a foam for cappuccino. Please watch some videos on youtube how to make foam for cappuccino.
Very artsy and unique. Staff was amazing and friendly. Coffees and breakfast was fantastic. They had some delicious looking Quiches but we went with the Avocado Toast and it was on the money.
Best place for coffee (and/or quiche!) in Glenwood, by far. Great baristas and overall vibe!
The food was great. It came out quickly and was well prepared. Unfortunately, it wasn’t what I ordered or paid for and they refused to refund the difference for the missing items… and the chef argued that it was what I paid for. I walked out. Just wanted eggs and toast after six hours on the road… never going back.🤘🖕🖕 P.S. I had pre-tipped 25% at order. Thanks for appreciating me ladies. Such an epic bfast disappointment…
Bluebird Café was a lifesaver for me as a traveling vegan - the plant-based bagel sandwich was delicious (so much so that I had it for breakfast and then came back to have it for lunch on the same day). I really appreciated that it was packed full of plant-based protein (including Just Egg and Beyond sausage!), which can be so hard to find in small towns while traveling. The atmosphere inside the café was warm and friendly, as were the people working there! I'll definitely come back on my next trip to Glenwood Springs.
Amazing breakfast and coffee with a great view of Main street
Great atmosphere! Batista's were sweet and knowledgeable! I didn't know what I wanted to drink but said I wanted something sweet and hot! Best coffee I've ever had! Thank you haylie! Avocado toast was on point! Will definitely come back when we return to glenwood!
Food was average, cold. Servers were probably overworked but regardless they forgot some of the things we ordered, service was slow... Not the best breakfast we had while we were here
Bluebird has the BEST indoor space in Glenwood. It is remarkably spacious, warm, comfy, and ideal for working by yourself or meeting with several people. I was not pleased with the value of the food menu, however. When I pay $10+ dollars for a sandwich, I expect a large one with special bread and plenty of ingredients. I think there were only a few slices of turkey and there was no dressing or condiment…which would be fine but they do not offer mayo or mustard. (There was ketchup and hot sauce avail, but that’s it.) I just can’t imagine a sandwich shop without classic condiments. To boot, I opted for the “fruit cup,” which turned out to be a shot glass of five pieces of fruit. See pic. I do love this place, and the young staff who work here are sweet, but I felt compelled to write a review when the following happened - MORE THAN ONCE! A couple walked in to get a coffee with leftovers in a boxed in their hands. The barista first thing said, “The signs says ‘no outdoor food.” She hadn’t even greeted them. They said they just wanted coffee to go, and still had to prove to her that they were leftovers. When the same sitch happened again I became wholeheartedly disappointed. To end on a positive note, I will actually likely return to Bluebird. Its location, indoor space, and WiFi are unparalleled in the area, and the cheesecake does look feather good ☺️
Fun little coffee/sandwich shop. Cool vibes and welcoming atmosphere for all. Had some sandwiches and coffee. Quiet place, folks working and soaking in the morning.
