Cook claimed to be out of waffles 30 min after opening, then sent out three pancakes that were burnt on the outside, batter on the inside, and served next to a rubbery pile of unsalted egg. I paid for another breakfast at a better restaurant immediately afterward.
Best anniversary meal we have traveled for.
Went in, loads of empty seats and I mean maybe maybe 10 percent full. Was told the best they could do was seat us at the bar on high chairs. I can't sit on those due to back issues. When I explained this the greeter was happy to let us leave.
High class restaurant with a date night vibe. Enjoyed the wine, scallops, fillet, and buffalo meat balls with my husband. Bread pudding was also very good. Expensive with mid-size portions, but it is advertised as such, so you know what you're getting going in. Service was very good from Al.
Everything was just ok. It all felt quite "run down," the restaurant experience and the food experience. I was very surprised based on the star rating and the price point. Table - both those seated on the bench and chair side were uncomfortable, table too tall, zero support in chairs/uncomfortable. Brie - seemed it had been prepared 20 minutes ago, not warm at all, "baguette" slices as if they came out of a package from the grocery store. Filet - pretty good flavor, cooked perfectly medium, but not a $55 steak. 3 tiny sticks of asparagus and a tiny potato "kennedy" underneath that was nearly burned. Dessert - decided to go somewhere else and not spend any more here. Wine - just ok, though comp'd for our birthdays, which was nice.
Great place with outstanding service. Will definitely go back there.
We really enjoyed our meals and drinks. The waiter was helpful and gave good advice. We will be back!
Good food. Expensive. 3 scallops on a tiny bead of pasta for $45. Good, but not the best I’ve ever had for $15 per scallop.
Salmon is Salmon, however here is cooked with some crusts on top, and it was extremely savory.
Some dishes are exceptional - such as the bison ribeye. For a "hotel restaurant", it is quite good.
Range is our go-to spot when we come downtown for a concert or a play. The people are always super nice and the food never disappoints.
Ate there for pre-dcpa performance during denver restaurant week. Service was impeccable, and had the corn/cheese dip, beet salad, and wagyu short rib. Loved the appetizer and short rib, but the salad I would not order again.
The salmon taste good. However, do not order it as an entree, just order a salad with salmon as an add on since it's the same salmon and if you order entree you are paying $10 extra and without the salad....
This was an awful restaurant! It was extremely over priced for the food. My meat was 90% fat, the polenta was rock hard and tasteless. The server, while friendly, was completely overwhelmed with everything. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost!
Phenomenal. Classic marble building in the middle of Denver makes for an urban experience that is quiet and classy. Food is rich and flavorful. Special thanks to Fred for his patience, calmness, and kindness. Happy to have made a new friend. Go to the hotel bar in the lobby adjacent before or after for a peaceful turn of the century experience.
Tremendous dining experience! Exceptional offering of local Colorado entrees. The service could not have been better! We will definitely be back!! :)
Wow. The Colorado Lamb and the Bison steak were both incredible. Our server was absolutely on point and had great suggestions. We should have just had one dessert to split but we ordered both and ended up eating every bite because it was so good (créme brulee & tres leches)
Service was good, but food was subpar. Appetizer came out cold as well as entrees. I had them take food back and it came out Luke warm again. Very unpleased with experience and food. Not worth price
Food was excellent. Service and drinks were great too!!
They used to have such good vegetarian food, but then stopped serving vegetarian entrees altogether. Super trashy.
