Rude toxic employees.
Great coffee! Charming decor. Handpainted walls, only had Coffee.
We have been in a few times the food has always been good and drinks taste great. When ordering at the counter the ladies aren’t very talkative or friendly whether it’s busy or not but it is what it is. I am not at the spot to make friends I guess but it would be nice to be a little friendly or smile. It’s in a great location right downtown near all the shops. Overall the place is a great place to chill and have a drink and a snack.
Got a iced vanilla late, it was excellent. I went on a recommendation from Cocao chemistry down the street, and I'm glad I went!
This is such a cute, friendly and hipster lil Cafe! Great food selections and yummy coffee beverages.

There have been a few good workers here. I've been diagnosed with several mental issues from the age of five. I feel that most of the employees here have discriminated me without really knowing me. I love to dance and sing. There is definitely a reason story coffee shop has a 4.8 star rating. Check them out. They're other location on Colorado Ave has a 5 star rating. Mikayla (one of the workers at solar roast) once proclaimed numerous times one day that she hates all men. Any men to do this in reference towards women would be fired immediately. Idk if she still works there, but the fact she worked there as long as she did, blows my mind. Birds of a feather flock together. I've also had homeless friends of mine kicked out the second they walked in, because they do not fit the look they want.
Awesome coffee shop with great breakfast burritos especially their carnitas with green chiles and green chiles sauce and sour cream, the chicken burrito is great top. I wish they had fresh fruit for their smoothies, but they're still decent nonetheless ❤️

Coffee is ok. I was paying cash and put two dollars in the tip jar before paying. My order came to $10.01 and I had a $10 bill. The barista insisted I pay the penny which I didn’t have. So I had to break a larger bill. This may seem like a first world problem, but I’ve never had a business do this before when paying cash, even when the change total has been $0.05-$0.10, and this experience really rubbed me the wrong way. When a business is given a discount by accepting cash and avoiding the 3% credit card fee, plus I’m subsidizing their underpaid employees, I’d figure they could eat the penny. It probably cost them more to provide change anyways. Go figure.
I came here to try a different coffee spot then they let the folks behind me go ahead because they forgot they told me they’d be with me in a second (there was only 3 people in line and it was not busy at all). When I went to order a lavender latte they got my order wrong and when I got to my car, I realized it was just a regular latte. 🤦🏼♀️ Not my favorite place. My partner let it known that the folks behind us skipped in front of us and they didn’t acknowledge the statement. For almost 8 dollars I should’ve stopped by Starbucks. My first “1” star coffee spot review.
They've taken a more aggressive stance towards keeping the homeless and intoxicated out of this place, and it shows. They also gave the boot to the incredibly rude, unprofessional young ladies who worked here. The new staff are incredibly sweet and awesome. You've converted me from 1 star to 5 stars! Great job cleaning that place out in every way!!
Regular customer here. Ordered 10 lbs of beans to my home delivered in early November. Just opened the Sumatra this morning. There is NO flavor to the beans. This is a first as previously they were great. Their customer service did not make this right and did not handle this appropriately as I offered to ship them back. It appears quality of product & service is going down hill. Beyond disappointed.
They don’t really know how to make espresso drinks like cappuccinos. Solidly meh.
Poor customer service. Watched the baristas talk for 10 minutes while not making my drink. Observed them making faces like children at other patrons during my wait. where are the grownups?

Very well-decorated shop with a homey atmosphere. Matcha latte was sweet and delicious, friends loved the coffee.
Coffee is subpar and atmosphere is uncomfortable. Skip this place, you’ll be much better off
Great service, great food and great coffee. I originally got a drink that was a little too sweet for me and the baristas were kind enough to make me a delicious latte for free. Thanks Solar Roast!
Flavorful coffees, good lemon bars, nice food smells, friendly staff, good location. I've been back maybe 8 or 9 times now.
