My wife and I have been to this place several times now and the first couple times it was excellent. We heard about the vegan burrito saw it on the menu and gave it a try. It was excellent. The last couple times however, we ordered without green chili and and it appeared to have a lot of green chilis in it. It also had the Vegan cream cheese (I hope) in it instead of the Vegan sour cream as the menu states. My wife called to let them know about the problem and instead of trying to make it right the man on the phone shifted blame and was quite rude. He mentioned that the vegan sour cream and the the vegan cream cheese are interchangeable and was very argumentative and condescending. Which the texture and taste are quite different but what do I know I have only have both several times. I guess the customer is wrong now. My bad I didn't know. I don't think we'll be back. My wife called because she is the nice one... Off to report the news to Happy Cow and the Colorado Springs Vegan group. This could have easily been avoided.
Very nice coffee and breakfast place. We discovered it thanks to the Craft and Draft Passport. The atmosphere is a VIBE and the coffee is really good. We got a Nutella frappé and it was delicious. They also had some great breakfast treats that looked delicious as well. We I'll come back for sure!
Quaint cute little atmosphere tucked inside the breezeway of a strip mall.
This is hands down the best coffee shop in the Springs. They make their own syrups and the recipes for their food are simply amazing. Their breakfast burrito is a literal godsend it’s so good, better than Monica’s down the road. Ive been to all the coffee shops with friends but I’m always comparing my experience to Kawa & feeling disappointed in watery coffee and over-priced substandard food at most other places shops even if they may be larger or have more seating space than Kawa. Last but not least the employees are amazing. They are thoughtful and kind and I couldn’t be happier to have this place down the road. Nothing beats locally owned, throw your Starbucks in the trash, stop by and see what you’ve been missing & support local coffee, you won’t regret it! (Unless you’re basic and corporate coffee has brainwashed your taste in coffee, then carry on ;)
One of my favorite spots in town! They make many syrups in house. Love the lavender latte
I absolutely love this place! It’s hard to find non-franchised coffee shops these days, but the coffee, food, atmosphere, experience, and the staff all make this place worth a stop. Don’t expect quick times like Starbucks, but take a beat to sit down and relax here. The menu is excellent even with vegan options.
Awesome and cute lil coffee shop! I wouldn’t consider myself a coffee “snob”, but this coffee is SOOOOO good. The employees are all super friendly and nice as well. Food is pretty decent as well. Super happy I live a 2min drive from here!
This is my favorite coffee place in town; I drive 15 mins to get pickup. Consistently great-tasting coffee with a wide variety of customization. They have some of the best syrups—cozy and laid-back ambiance; an excellent place to work and hang doesn't get loud. Sorry for the late review; been coming here for over a year and usually come two to three times a month.
Wonderful vegan food and pastries. Excellent coffee. Kind customer service. Love this place.
Food is good but they don't pay attention and keep making my food wrong I love them but I feel wrong giving a good review when I don't get what I order and am shorted items.... maybe it's because I ordered online idk
Amazing cold brew! Great vibes! Had a wrap as well🥰 so good!
the atmosphere is SO pretty! they’ve got plants and a great variety of seating areas. the music is so vibey too. makes me feel like i’m at home. the barista that greeted me in was very nice and upbeat. she lit up the entire cafe. i ordered a pumpkin muffin and a small latte (8oz). overall price (including tax) was $8.39. not too bad for price, considering other coffee shops. the latte was very rich and had a strong flavor to it. the muffin was super dense and pretty big. it wasn’t that it was bad, it was just very heavy. the flavor was to die for tho. probably would purchase again not going to lie ☺️ this place is tucked in the back of a shopping center, so it’s kind of hidden the first time you come around. they have a place where you can get water cups and fill up your water bottle. the wifi password is super easy to find as it’s right next to their menu (kawalove!) i definitely would come here again, as it’s one of my favorites now. i just love the aesthetic of the place and how kind everyone is. it’s perfect for studying ;) they really make you feel comfortable when you’re here.
Great coffee, good food, and nice atmosphere! They seem understaffed; could use another pair of hands.
The breakfast burrito is yummy! I loved my cappuccino as well, I chose dark roast! Thanks Kawa Coffee I'm glad to know you're here and for sure will be back!
One of the best coffee shops in Colorado Springs! But I hope y'all don't go and make it to busy. :) They make great breakfast and lunch foods. The coffee is also well roasted and fresh.
Best espresso in the Springs! Make sure you try the Canuck (maple breve) - yum!
Staff was friendly and accommodating. The coffee was great and the gluten free muffins were very good! I was pleasantly surprised to find gluten free options that didn't taste like sawdust! So glad that I discovered this little gem!!
Had a great experience. Coffee and food was great. The staff is very welcoming and kind. Will definitely go here again!
First time there. Found Door Dashing. Tessa was the helper, and she smiled the whole time I was there with my mom. Also, the food was fresh and amazing. The environment was welcoming. Will definitely come again. I wish the management would reply to their customers though.
I went in with my dad for some food and coffee. My dad ordered the Chai latte and a bagel. The chai latte tasted weak when they brought it out to us. When we ended up leaving my dad asked for some extra Chai concentrate in the drink to go. The batista obliged but admitted that she knew she forgot to add in the shots when she had brought it over. Seemed unprofessional that she wouldn't have come over to our table to correct a mistake she knew was made. The staff was kind and the food was okay, but not very impressed with the coffee or the lack of effort to correct the mistake made especially for the prices paid for the drinks.
