Good coffee but super duper slow service
Went in the afternoon. There was no background music on. The atmosphere felt more like a library than a coffee shop. The other patrons were on their computers and I felt like I had to whisper my order to the barista. Good coffee and good service.
It's a nice little place, I liked their lattes, but very expensive. Will probably be back still
Im.not to happy with this establishment as for me there are better coffee shops. Twice I have been in and tried to pay with a credit card and there was a malfunction. Both my wife and I looked up our account and there was plenty of money in there. The coffee was so so and there could be improvements made in the hew business transition. Lastly, they close at 6 although it is listed till 9:00 pm. I would have like to have known that as many business' don't post their changing in hours. Im.not going back there as there are better options for me.
Don't really understand the positive reviews. Overpriced below average food and drinks. Slow service as well. What am I missing?
Super cute place, lots of room and they have games and books. Coffee was sort of like truck stop coffee, even tho I got syrups and creamer, couldn't really taste it. Paid 8.50 for avocado toast that came with bacon and an egg - egg is three thin slices of a hard boiled egg and when I asked if the avocado toast just no longer comes with bacon, she said "yeah I guess he forgot, it got crazy for us" ...??? No price adjustment, apology, nothing. Not impressed, probably won't give it another try.
Had their coffee of the month, a white chocolate & toasted marshmallow. OMG it was delicious!! Will have to visit again!
My favorite coffee shop on the north side! I work on this end of the city so I always stop in here when I can. The atmosphere inside is wonderful with nice open windows, plants and art on the walls, and plenty of comfy, open seating. The service is always outstanding and the drinks and food are always tasty! Prices can be a little steep but you get what you pay for. Stop by if you can! You won't be sorry
Spacious coffee shop off of Academy! Been here a couple times and everything has been wonderful.
Very nice location, very nice staff. I ordered a lavender lemonade, it was good. The club sandwich was very generic. Also tried the club salad, it was lunch meat and wilted lettuce with one quarter of a yellow avocado. Very dissatisfied not to mention that I spent 35$ on this meal. I don't recommend.
Great place! Friendly faces and hot coffee Moises with tailor maid carpet cleaning
$11 for a sandwich I can’t even eat.. Been coming here at least twice a week for the last 3 months as I work nearby. Love their chai, but the inconsistency.. I ordered the same sandwich I always do and for some reason they put additional ingredients that aren’t even on the listed ingredients (which I’m allergic to so I can’t even eat it now) and then removed the mayo that had previously been on sandwiches.. and then also toasted it? Which had also never been done before. I see new employee faces every so often so I guess someone new made my sandwich?
Forget Starbucks. Come here and get a better cup of coffee at a better price. No annoying loud music and a friendly staff. I'll be going back to this place.
Good place to meet or work on the internet. I had a latte while working on my laptop which really hit the spot.
Always good coffee and great service! Cool little place with nice ambiance.
Props for improvement compared to my over my past visits. Prices still high, but staff is nicer and service was fast. Coffee was good.
My husband and I went one Saturday morning to hear the blue grass band play. They play there the first and third Saturday of each month. Had a cup of coffee and a banana nut muffin. Both were good 👍
this place is right off the busy road of academy. it’s very spacious and has a variety of different types of seating (both outside and inside). they even have a private room for big meetings. i stayed here for roughly 4 hours and no one complained, and there was enough seating for other customers, even when the shop was at its busiest. the customer service was average. i ordered a medium americano with pumpkin pie spice and it was so-so. it was about 4.80. tasted like the cup of coffee i make at home, didn’t really taste the pumpkin-ness, but it wasn’t bad. when she was making it, she asked if i wanted room for cream and i said sure just because i like adding my own cream. then she hands it to me and says “i added cream” just something i didn’t prepare for. they give also ordered an egg croissant sandwich with spinach and swiss cheese. it was kind of bland and i could’ve made it better at home. this place does not have music. they have a small book shelf for “take a book, leave a book” and games that you can use. overall this place is great for if you are wanting pastries (sweet breads, croissants, danishes, cinnamon rolls, and cake) or delicious burritos. i’d probably go somewhere else tho if i want a smooth cup of coffee. i might come back to try their lattes. i didn’t get one this time tho because they were so expensive (5.15 plus another .99 for added flavor). update (12/2022) their lattes are so nice. probably one of the best i’ve had in colorado springs. the roast was sweet and smooth. they’ve really upped their game. quiche was okay, probably won’t get it again as the smell was kind…off-pudding. their cinnamon rolls, though, very good, very good 👌👌
My wife and I are here enjoying coffee and muffins at their regular/periodic Saturday morning Bluegrass Music performance. Today there are 20 local musicians playing guitar, fiddle, banjo, bass, and mandolin. Since it's early December there are some Christmas songs mixed in. The seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is cozy.
Fantastic service. Try the cinnamon roll latte - had it on recommendation from the barista and was not disappointed.
