I am writing a review not on the accommodations itself. We have stayed here before and it was very pleasant. I am giving them a 1 star for their cancellation policy. We booked a July visit at the end of last year. I called in February to cancel amd was told we would lose our deposit. Which is not a small amount. Didnt matter the reason for the cancellation. This facility is booked every year. They will rent the cabin and "double dip" the price of the deposit. I find this as bad business. I would understand if the cancellation was 30 days or less but months in advance? It was my fault for not really reading the cancellation policy. I take ownership of that. However if there is a reason for cancellation beyond your control, ie sickness, death or other and it is months in advance, there should be some kind of refund of our deposit. Bad business is bad business. Renters be prepared to lose money if you are unfortunately put in a position you cannot make your trip. We will not give them our money in the future.
The owners Ted and Tammy are wonderful, the property is absolutely stunning and they have gone out of their way to welcome us early in the season.
Made a cross country trip here from Ohio back in September. One of my top trips in general and my best trip to date with my machines. Location is incredible. Staff was great. Cabins are nothing to write home about but it's a place to stay and nothing stood out enough for me to have a complaint about. YES the gas and store is expensive ppl GET OVER IT. You want to drive an hour to get something you NEED or do you want to walk from your cabin? I dream on coming back here to wheel again.

Barry is great, ted on the other hand is the most unfriendly, rude person. Prices on food and cabins is outrageous. 8$ for a 7oz. Can of coffee.

Is not a pet friendly place. Beware that you have to crate your pet inside the cabin if you gone. It does not state their policy on website regarding it at all and we never informed until we had check in ... This made on first day very for stressful my whole family that brought their petsl because we had to go buy crate for the dogs but if we had know about their pet policy we were of brought own dog crates that we left at home since we never informed that we needed them before leaving home. The charge of $35 a day for dog and I could of boarded the dogs at home instead for 45 day and they would been better off. I should of brought more dish soap and other cleaning supplies with me but because a tiny bottle of dish soap was laughable for 5 days of cleaning dishes. I would recommend that you bring extentions cords, extra table to prepare food because there is no countertop space in cabins that sleep less than 6. Not sure if we will be coming back with large group that we had more than 10 cabins and 3 campsites during on August visit.
Stayed in a cabin for a week and rented atv’s for five days. Wonderful experience and great people! Will definitely go back.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Our cabin was very clean and comfortable. We had an excellent time. I had read some negative reviews before we went there and I have to say most of them were not accurate for our stay. The cabins are equipped with basic necessities that you will need for your stay. We knew this going in and packed accordingly. We packed extras in lines of paper towels, toilet paper, and extension cords. That's really all we needed. The owners were very friendly and cordial. Our only complaint for the whole stay was the kitchen chairs needed some work. Very minor inconvenience!! For the price of the cabins you can't justify staying anywhere else. We are already booked for next year and are counting the days until we get to go back!
Staff was friendly and inviting, Site was clean. Hard to get to the correct person for after hour concerns would be my only report
I like the area and the scenery not so much the constant ATV riding
Great little place to gas up your toys, grab some grub and fish bait!
If you need propane don't buy it here. It's a rip off. They don't weight it and charge everyone the same amount no matter how much you need.
7 dollar gas!!!, shirts and stuff is outrageous. I know, souvenir shop but Lil silly
Great trading post near the ATV rentals! Has all the gear you may need and friendly staff!!
Their cancellation policy is "we keep your money." Nothing gives you a warm fuzzy like that.
Great place! Very helpful people! You can find quick grabs of food, drinks and snacks!
Stupid expensive, 8.00 for 1lb of butter.... but better than using bacon grease on your toast. Super friendly staff, busy place in the middle of nowhere in the high altitude rockies.
