horrifyingly rude on phone, asked a simple question and he hung up on me right away as I was speaking...… never going to this place
We were headed to Vail for some spring break skiing. After being snowed in Nebraska and I-80 closed for the night, we had an early morning drive through the rolling hills of both Nebraska and Colorado, down on route 34. Stopped in Akron to grab coffee and breakfast and Cornerstone Coffee was such a pleasant surprise! A quaint little spot, well toasted paninis, homemade jalapeño biscuits, scrambled eggs, excellent latte, all served with a warm smile. True Colorado hospitality :)
Great place, friendly people! Everything was delicious! Very good Java!
This is another cute place in town, when one place is closed and the other one is open, it's actually amazing to have in a small town like this as for someone who loves her coffee. The first visit was nice, it was quiet and peaceful. It's very open, spacious, and good amount of seating. Their menu has a huge variety from treats, goodies, ice cream, smoothies, coffee, latte's, teas, and good amount of food choices as well. Second visit I brought my mom and we sat inside but we couldn't stay long due to the loudness of children from another family inside. It was uncomfortable to have conversations with my mom, when I couldn't hear or understand her. I also have sensitive hearing so another reason I couldn't stay and enjoy the place. When visiting and there's quietness, it's nice to come in and enjoy a book and a nice cup of coffee, breakfast, lunch, or/ and a treat. :)
Nice local shop. Had coffee and home made poppy seed bread. Great coffee. Bread was good.

Good coffee and breakfast. Good way to start the day.
Me en canta todo su menú 🤤
Service was friendly. Food was fast and hot and excellent. Atmosphere was clean and inviting. Would stop in again or recommend to others.
Great place to have relaxing visits with friends. Great quality food. I'm not a coffee drinker so I can't speak to that. I like that there's fountain drinks.
Came in town for an architecture project from denver and was kindly greeted by the chef herself. Had the jalapeño cheddar biscuits and gravy and they were SO GOOD! Had a chai, biscuits, a side salad and a sample of the super good cinnamon apple crunch muffin all for around $8!! That’s unheard of! In denver you’d get something a quarter as good and twice the price. Highly recommend CornerStone
My husband and I stopped here on a road trip on the way home to Texas. The food was delicious and the waitress was awesome ✨ We’ll come back again when we pass through☺️👏🏻
Good food. Great service and very helpful.
Everyone is very friendly and has great hospitality. The coffee is very hot and they made it perfectly for me. The jalapeño bacon cream cheese bagel is one of the best I’ve ever had! Absolutely amazing!
The pumpkin bread is delicious and the strawberry banana smoothie is also delicious. I found my new favorite drink and bread.
Expansive menu, fresh ingredients, fabulous salads, sandwiches...with fast friendly service.
The quesadilla was excellent and the service by the owner was friendly. I even took home 2 lemon pies by Cindy
Fantastic find where you least expect it.
