Edit. Tyler is at the other store now but he's still awesome. And so is the coffee. I've come here to say that Tyler is the most realest, most kindest human i could wanna get my coffee from. He goes above and beyond his job and I'm grateful. Thank you Tyler.
Absolutely the worst experience ever
I tried to pay with a 20$ bill and they wouldn't take it. They totally gave me dirty looks because I didn't have CC. Way to marginalize ppl. 🙁🙁😧
Super nice! They practice what they preach. Came in just they were closing and STILL were super accommodating.
The first time I decided to try groundwork coffee i encountered terrible customer service. The attitude from the cashier was not it, it made you feel like an inconvenience to them. The horchata coffee was a 2/10 not worth the price. I tried it again today and decided to go for a matcha and it was the most disappointing matcha ever. As you can see in the picture it is 98% milk and 2% matcha powder (not even properly mixed). I am extremely sad that I spent $8 on a cup of milk with 6 ice cubes that looked a little melted. My mistake for giving this shop another chance.
The place is very accessible and staff are friendly. They have good selections. They have a Horchata drink that is addicting. Every morning, they have newly baked loaves of banana walnut, Zucchini etc. They don't last long so I suggest to visit as early possible.

Very nice coffee and the food is amazing. The staff is very kind and helpful. The food took a while but the coffee was delivered super fast.

Coffee and pastry at this Groundwork are a nice treat. The outdoor seating area is enormous... largest in LA!
First time we had a coffee at Groundwork coffee, and it did impressed us. Good quality coffee in the quiet streets of Venice. Will come back again
Amazing coffee, delicious food-breakfast burrito wow, and beyond friendly staff (thanks Jenna & Martina!). Lovely outdoor patio, a great place that I will certainly be back to!!

Coffee is great!! Service is lacking. Paid for iced coffee had to ask twice ended up getting a hot coffee. Will not return

Great coffee and also breakfast items are n pretty good too. Their outdoor seating is great to get your coffee and read. Staff makes this place better too.
Groundworks keeps hiking up the prices making what was once my favorite neighborhood haunt another expensive coffee spot. It’s a shame.
So I'm standing in line and the barista asks: "can I help you with something?" (Me)"Yes I'd like a cappuccino" (him) "ok yeah you're gonna have to wait." Rude. Left. Never again.
