Fantastic place to get coffee and other goodies! Wonderful, friendly staff with great attitudes!
We go out of our way to stop here whenever we can. When we planned the route for our reservoir run (oroville/shasta) we went out of our way to make this our lunch stop. High lights are home made pasteries made to order sandwiches and comfort food breakfasts. I had egg salad sanwich on a jalapeño bagel (they make the egg salad at time of your order so its fresh) my wife had Roast beef on an Onion bagel. Smoothies and cold brew coffee that steeped 12 hrs. If you're ever on hwy 44 headed to shingle town or lassen plan this as a stop. You won't be disappointed. Staff friendly and effecient!!!
Good breakfast and lunch. Coffee and chai tea I think is better than Starbucks
Absolutely love this coffee shop. The coffee is outstanding, the food couldn't be better. Will go again and again when in the area.

Neat little place.
I'm amazed that the owner remembers me from a couple of years ago, and in the three times in the last three weeks I've stopped by remembers my prior orders and conversations! This personal service is ALL about the benefits of supporting small owner businesses! The coffee and scones are great, and two thumbs up on the bagel breakfast sandwiches with sausage and eggs. Stop by you won't be disappointed. My current favorite drink is the Mexican Mocha coffee, which you can get hit, iced or blended (blended with whipped cream on a warm day, heaven!) If you're journeying on Highway 44 be sure to stop by, you won't regret it.

Everytime i go its made different, the last time it tasted like hot milk almost 6$ for hot milk is not cool. The owner makes it perfect though

Wow we love this place . The owner angie is great! I had biscuit &gravy and a breakfast burrito. It was so good . I only wish I lived closer .

Awesome service. The one drink that I love is the Mexican Mocha it's the BOMB, get the large size you will love it a lot and want more.
Higher Grounds is a great place to eat and get your favorite coffee. It is clean and the ladies are all very friendly.
