This is my favorite coffee shop in Sonoma County so far, the ambience of the shop is cozy yet still has a decent amount of seating. I usually get a latte or a cup of coffee and it never misses

I love this coffeehouse. It has a nice open feeling and is bright. The space is set up to hang out with a friend or your homework without feeling like you're overstaying your welcome. The breakfast sandwiches and avocado toast are our favorites.

I changed my order last minute but they were patient with it. Busy spot and great coffee. Service was quick.

Fun cafe, great service. But it can get really loud when if half the patrons are working/studying. So bring noise canceling headphones. When it comes to drink and food options they really are ABOVE the competition with quality and variety. Lots of non caffeine drink options and for food they have vegan food options 😋

Living in Sebastopol for 15 years after San Jose for 20, I’ve been on a quest for reliable roast coffee beans for my professional home system. I’m fortunate to have enjoyed tasty coffees in many places, but am dismayed at local roasters. Reliable creama is necessary for my latte art, but seems not a metric for roasters at Retrograde or Avid (the former roaster at Acre, TJ did an excellent job on their Columbian but he’s gone and so is Acre…) I give credit to the Retrograde store and staff, but struggle with roasters target taste audience; complexity of taste in the current New Guinea coffee is acceptable but, the Brazilian, Ethiopian and Guatemalan is missing. Next month is the Specialty Coffee Association meeting in Portland where I investigate a replacement for my 15 year old Dalla Corte machine. But I ponder spending what new single shot professional machines cost when it’s so challenging to find beans from local roasters…

Only had the drip coffee. Was ok. No great notes that you look for in a small roaster. Chocolate croissant was tasty. Needs some better seating imo. Very pragmatic in design so lacks warmth.

Very friendly service, great coffee and sandwiches! Nice atmosphere to catch up with friends or get some work done. My go to drink: lavender vanilla iced latte with oat milk! So good

The staff always is grumpy, I wish hip places didn't have people working that are too hip cause they tend to not have patience with he customers. And they were Rude to the customer when it was so loud I didn't hear them call my name. I didn't even complain but they gave me attitude because I didn't hear them, I still drank a cold coffee without complaints.

Ordered the espresso and it was slightly acidic but it was definitely good. Also, tiger stripes! It was a well made shot. The espresso cup was cute, the place had great vibe! Highly recommend the place!

Fantastic third wave espresso, roasted in house. For fans of Acre, this is at (or above!) that level. Excellent cortado, chai, and hot chocolate.

I discovered this coffee shop about 2 months ago. This place is phenomenal! As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome from staff and guided to the service area. The mocha I ordered was impeccable. The layout of the shop is unique. I look forward to recommending this coffee shop to family and friends, and enjoying the NEW space to come. Great job, Retrograde Coffee Roasters!

We ordered a latte and a cappuccino and explicitly asked to be served in a mug. Not only was I not served in a mug, but when asked for one, the barista tried to transfer them in a hasty manner spilling the coffee all over leaving them unpresentable. And the latte is just milk with sugar
