Lovely cafe close to the beach. Had a rhubarb pastry that was extremely well made. Great compliment to a morning coffee. Highly recommend visiting if in the area. Also they do military discount for any folks living in the area or visiting.

Visiting Monterey right now -- this is the fourth cafe I've been to and it is "the one!" GREAT espresso, nice and balanced, quality milk, good selection of flavors, and the rose whipped cream is so good. The staff are wonderful too -- big thanks to Amber and her team for adding sunshine to my day! 🙂 I'll be back again before traveling home.

We have been enjoying Acme coffee for several years now. Our go-to is the espresso whole beans for our morning caffeine but it's fun to try their limited varieties from time to time. Good coffee.

Overcoming my selfish urge to try to keep this gem hidden... Yeah. It really is five stars.

This place has some mindblowingly good coffee. The best I've had, in fact. Depth of flavors is fantastic. You won't regret coming here.

Absolutely the best coffee on the planet. We used to use the motor city espresso, and the valve job for our drip coffe when I worked at Pino's Italian Cafe in downtown Monterey. Danny who was the cafe owner bought from them for years and years till he closed. Jackie and the staff from acme are always on point with customer service, quality, communication and hospitality. I moved to Southern California and I order the coffee and espresso whenever I can. For a small business they have come into a world were they're coffee should be sold worldwide 🌐 love these guys ❤️☕️

Delicious espresso and several options. Typical coffee drinks and pastries, donuts, but there's something special about Acme's. Try it!

The coffee sold here is top notch. They offer some of the lowest acidic organic coffees. They also serve stevia in the raw which I love. Staff seems very friendly and helpful. The one thing I would love is if they had gluten free or paleo options for baked goods.

My favorite coffee in California. It has a good balance of bitterness and sourness. Ordering beans to Bay Area as I couldn’t find a match closer.

It is always a pleasure to visit Acme Coffee Roasting Co. Now, during covid...the staff is on it, the coffee is excellent, every time. I generally get an americano, but on a rare occasion, their mocha options are the best I've ever had. Acme Coffee Roasting Co: Thanks for sticking up for freedom and good coffee!

Acme roasts consistently good coffee and it's always fresh. Their roast profiles are accurate (a "medium" roast is truly that) and it doesn't go over the top with adjectives to describe their beans. They don't make their pastries, but the pastries are very good. Acme is tiny. Though there are a few places to sit, most people do take out or stand around as they visit and drink their coffee. You can pay more, but it's tough to find better coffee.

After visiting ACME my experience was better than expected. The menu was easy and simple to read. My wife and I asked for recommendations from the staff member helping out this morning and she left the coffee shop feeling well served. The recommendations were just on the spot in terms of taste. Good job on the service they provide their customers!!

Fantastic coffee, and by far the best coffee I have tried anywhere in America. The roasts are consistent, the drinks made are consistent and the taste of each coffee you order is consistent. It doesn't matter if you buy whole bean and brew it at home or get it in the store, you still get fantastic coffee! The whole bags I buy are always fresh beans, unlike Captain and Stoker in Monterey, and MUCH more reasonably priced!! Acme coffee whole beans range from $16-$20/lbs for most of their roasts and coffees are cheaper than Starbucks and taste 100x better!! I highly recommend this place if you live anywhere near Monterey!

Had the single source Columbian slow drip and it was great. No seating but standing tables are available and covered if raining.
