Fun to meet up with friends and have coffee.
We stopped here for coffee during the storm. Our power was out and we needed our COFFEE! Great Americano, free WI-FI and they open at 5:30 A.M.👍
Good stop off the freeway if you are in a rush.
We came in for 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches...which amounted to $33. We were charged for a cardboard drink sleeve and for the reusable cups. (!!) We were also charged a 3% fee. Had I known this would be the case, I wouldn't have come in the first place. The food was just ok. The coffee was pretty good. Being nickel and dimed by a shop that is dirty and in need of updates was a huge turnoff. We went to Gayle's Bakery and got similar delicious items for less $$, kinder service, and cleaner atmosphere.
I have had okay coffee here and I have been in a few times even though I am not a local (anymore). Surf City was good and I enjoyed that place. It now seems to be continually going down hill every time I go in. Not clean and just looks rundown. Still remnants of Surf City, which is a sad reminder of better times.

We went in for a quick stop after leaving the hotel to travel further up north. The staff was fine but there was a dog behind the counter near the microwaves, the microwaves looked black inside (from burnt food maybe?), and there were spider webs and flies caught in them near the windows. We still got food, as we had ordered before seeing all of this. The three stars are because the food was fine but we took it to go. Coffee was fine too but nothing really stands out here.
5 stars in everything. This place is excellent!

I was checking out local coffee shops with my daughter this morning. Unfortunately the lady was so rude to me that I didn’t even order a coffee like I was planning too. I just had to get out of there as fast as possible. They will loose business because of the negativity that they show to customers. We will not be back.
This place is pretty lame.
If you are planning on ordered for more that 3 people this is not the ideal place. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and coffee for about 6 people as we were staying across the street at the Hilton for a wedding. We ordered sandwiches off of the menu and requested add ons that were listed on their menu. Every add on we requested the cashier scoffed at, for every sandwich. She explained the add ons would be extra and we let her know we understood. When it came to the end of our order she said we made things complicated and her other customers would not be able to get sandwiches until they had completed ours because we were so complicated despite the shop being empty when we walked in. To add more frustration to the situation there was a $10 service fee added to our order that was not explained to us and I did not notice until the order was charged.
One of the best finds on our trip! The cutest chill coffee spot! The beach bum is a must try, absolutely amazing and tasty! Definitely beats any Starbucks latte I have ever had!!! Wish we had a spot like this in FL! Will definitely be back next time we are in town!
Rude! Walked in said good morning, women looked up…..nothing no response. Asked for flavors of tea…..points “sign right there” Order ready on counter, said thank you….again no response.

2 visits and never again. I asked for my coffee first. I got grief, I just really needed my coffee. The lady argued with me. She also got mad because I wanted to pay cash. I even gave her a tip, in cash right in front of her face. Maybe she needs a vacation. Two bad visits is enough for me. The coffee isn't even good. I asked for.coconut Torani flavored syrup. She put a ton in and ruined my coffee. Which, was the whole.reason I want there. Avoid!
