My experience was a mixed one, and, while it wasn't totally negative, I'm not sure I will return. We ordered and split the following: a chai latte, a lemon croissant, an apricot-almond croissant, a chai maple tart, a vegan breakfast burrito, and a breakfast croissant sandwich. The chai latte tasted fine but wasn't hot when delivered. The lemon croissant was good, but the curd was bland. The pastry was very crispy and a proper laminated dough. The apricot-almond croissant was on the bready side, but the halved apricot and danish topping were very delicious. The chai maple tart had a buttery crust and a very light, whipped filling. However, I found both flavors to be very weak. I tasted no maple. My breakfast burrito was good. I thought the portion size was fair, and it came with a side of fresh fruit. However, I found the roasted vegetables inside to be a bit large and a difficult to navigate around. The hash browns in it completely disappeared and were in no way crispy or noticeable. The breakfast sandwich was the tastiest item! The croissant was flaky, the eggs had a nice browning on the outside, and the bacon was substantial and delicious. However, the cheese was lackluster. It was advertised as sharp cheddar, but it was incredibly mild. The owner and staff were very accommodating, friendly, and attentive without hovering. While this place wasn't for me, I urge others to try it out and wish them nothing but success.
Lovely breads, pastries, and breakfast or lunch options. Fantastic customer service, clean restrooms, and delightful gifts.
Found a new breakfast place in Santa Ynez, close enough to Goleta/SB for a Sunday escape. As its name suggests, all the bread items ate freshly made. Walk-up ordering is always fun, and the service was top-notch throughout the visit. Fresh-clean style and all kinds of brunchy foods that straddle the two mealtimes perfectly. Something for everyone! My favorite was the smoked salmon platter on their hearty rye bread, with cream cheese wedges, sliced red onion, capers, and side salad. What a treat!
Corn beef hash was excellent
Our go to for French bread 🥖 🥐
The new location is super cute! Best bread in the valley :) Top notch place for a moca & croissant.
Excellent tight rolled & buttery croissants!
I felt uncomfortable and the service is not great.
In town with friends for a mini vacation. The Baker's Table was a block from where we stayed. It's great little cafe/bakery. I enjoyed an Americano with a lemon ginger scone. It was delightful. I will be back when in town again.
Had lunch here at my 88 year old mothers request (long time resident of SY) We each had a Reuben, which were quite tasty she a latte me an 805 (beer) $48.00, I felt was very expensive for lunch. $16.50 for a Reuben $6.50 for a bottle of beer and $5.00 for a latte. Won’t be back.
Food is pretty tasty. It's the cleanest and freshest breakfast you can get in SY. The only reason I am rating it so low is the service. I've eaten here numerous times and my food consistently comes out cold, undercooked, or just forgotten (yes, they lost my order 2 times now). If you have all day to eat try this place. Also, they dont have "public wifi".
Solid food and great atmosphere. Popular spot, no public internet
A great place with great service and outstanding food. Crazy kot to go here!
Delicious breakfast, lunch everything made fresh and homemade. Dining inside and outside very unique!!💖 In Santa Ynez😁
Fabulous croissants!
My favorite spot to stop in Santa Ynez. Amy and her crew do an amazing job with everything they prepare, breakfast, lunch or any sweet treat you could wish for. Amazing special order cakes too, the carrot cake is to die for. Great little find in the valley.
Love the bakers table for breakfast and lunch! Not only is the food wonderful the Bakers Table team Amazing! PS- Always grab a loaf for home.
Delicious pastries, yummy meals and the best coffee and staff! Our favorite is sitting on their patio and enjoying a beautiful afternoon lunch. I know their breads are where it’s at but the salads are some of my faves in town.
This is my favorite bakery in the Santa Ynez Valley! The baked goods, scones, croissants, pastries, quiche, and sandwiches are all delicious! Today I ordered a vegetable Tartine through the website. It was ready when I got there, and I added a chocolate chunk cookie for an extra treat! Customer service is always great!
What’s not to love. Baked and prepared with love and by an artisan’s hand. Wish we lived closer!!!
