The pros: The ambiance is great. They play good tunes, and the outdoor patio is beautiful on a spring or summer day. The wifi is free, strong, and speedy. They have a few outlets strategically placed between every 4 seats or so. The coffee itself is actually quite good - they roast in-house and tend to keep their roast profiles from light to mid, so their cold brews are delicious. Pastries are also baked on site, and are fresh. I know they only sell what they make that day. It's also nestled in the heart of Santa Ana, so it definitely keeps a local shop feel. The cons: The customer service/hospitality is not great. I used to come here every single weekend and talk it up to everyone I knew. Despite being here often and spending hours, not once did the baristas make any sign of recognition or take the time to know my name. I've regularly seen randoms wander behind the bar, but I would have to assume they're other employees off the clock - who are greeted with far more enthusiasm than I have ever seen them greet patrons. Also, if you order pastries, make sure you get a receipt. They have forgotten to give me my cookie more than once, and I've had to end up asking for it. All in all, if you care about good coffee, good pastries, and somewhere to meet a friend, but want nothing to do with the baristas, this is the place to be.

I took my 3 adult children with me to the Hidden House Coffee. We all enjoyed our visit. We had the croissant breakfast sandwiches and we all loved it, delicious 😋. Yes I recommend this place very friendly atmosphere. I ordered a fig latte with other spices included, and it is delicious. Let one of my daughter have the rest of it and she really liked it.

It's hidden, it's a house, and there's coffee. This little gem of a coffee shop is tucked clandestinely in its Santa Ana neighborhood where there currently is a lot of construction surrounding it. It's cozy in its industrial atmosphere and the lattes will keep you warm. Ordered the bagel bomb and a latte to go. Unfortunately my bagel bomb was a dud. It had no cream cheese inside (I kept eating it thinking there was creamy cheese. But none to end my misery of wanting the gooey center to surprise me like the gusher candies you would buy at the grocery store.) The latte on the other hand was very pleasant and it's nice to know I could get a milk alternative. I will visit again in hopes the bagel ball will perfectly complement my sweet latte.

The place is fine. It has a good amount of seating/workspace. I had the smores latte with oatmilk that did not move the meter much.

Hidden gem in Santa Ana. Americano perfect and with a small layer of crema. Ordered a blueberry muffin, enjoyed by my daughter. Parking is available, towards the side of the building . Over paid $10 for both coffee and muffin.

This place is awesome. The coffee is top notch, the vibe is really cool. They pastries and breakfast sandwiches are delicious and staff always have a big smile. The owner is also a veteran which is really cool to see individuals continue to be a big impact in the community even after their service in the military.

my favorite hhc, i like the original but this location is SO BIG it's awesome. employees are friendly for the most part, there are some that are not as helpful. the coffee is great, i love to just get the drip hot coffee. my favorite is the peru and the guatemalan blends. although I'm not a huge fan of the over coffee, I would say it's an acquired taste because it's very fruity, more so than normal. update: maybe it was just the staff today but they weren't too friendly and it felt like a toxic environment. also their espresso was very fruity so if you like that then this is your place
