Use at your own risk. The robot placed my cup in the wrong place and dumped all my coffee down the drain. The support phone number is disconnected and I never received a response to the email I sent asking for a refund. I'm sure I just got unlucky, but it still lost me $7.
Cute robot makes and serves you cofee and cookies. I would love to see the US move toward more vending machines and things like this.
This place is actually really cool. This is the first time that I see you a robot making you coffee It’s kind of funny and interesting to see this thing. Lots of people was around and curious how to work I like the idea.
Very cool concept to get coffee for late night flights! The coffee tasted like cleaning solution though, unfortunately.
unfortunately a terrible experience…. i ordered a strawberry lemonade and just got a cup with ice. i went to my recipt to look for a costumer service hotline, no one is there to help and i ended up with an empty cup with ice
Good coffee, nice show, fascinating barista but bad conversation…
First hot chocolate drink made by a robo. My kids loved it.
Still not sure how I feel about coffee made by a robot. Too many of my friends work as baristas. Can't say the staff were particularly friendly, not a lot of banter...
This coffee robot is a total rip-off. Paid $5.50 for a Latte and get a shot of expresso
The robot seems entertaining, but the prices are way too steep for coffee. I ended up watching the robot for two or three minutes but could not get over my sticker shock after I perused the menu.
Actually the best hot chocolate I've had in a long time!!
It's not worth paying $5-7 for a machine to pour you $2-3 quality coffee that you could get from the convenience store. It seems like a cool idea but once you see it do it once it really is just a robotic arm taking a cup and moving it under a coffee machine. Imagine if you went to 7-11 or a gas station, put a cup under a flavored coffee dispenser, and then pressed a button for the coffee of your choice. The robotic arm does just that, and then waves at you every so often. Got a latte, it tasted about the same as what comes from a convenience store. If you are in a rush and want to remotely order you can use this, if not just head over to Peet's a few stores down instead.
This machine is terrible and I would give a 0 if I could. I bought the honey creme cold brew but the machine is out of coffee. So instead I got a cup of only milk and I paid $6.25 for it. Also, the cup is really messy because the empty hose is trying to fill coffee but it was empty. So instead, it was spraying droplets. I wanted to get a refund and the contact for Cafex was almost impossible to find. Zero support and still waiting for a reply for a refund. I was very angry and upset with what I got.
The foam on my drink was rancid. Zero customer support. The phone number they give you never picks up or returns texts. Bad bad bad business. SFO kick them out of your facility.
Horrible matcha lattes. Threw them in the trash. Waste of money to watch a robot move a cup around.
In A Nutshell: -The automatic robot coffee barista at SFO in Terminal 3 is cool to watch. -However, the quality of the Americano was just meh. -You are definitely paying to watch the robot do it's thing, as well as watching it wave hello to you in-between orders. Overall, for a little over $6, you get an average coffee, but a cool robot show you can enjoy. P.S. Soon your job will be replaced by a robot like this in the near future!
Funny cafe . However the coffee flavor is a little bit plain for me
Nice gimick but the coffee tastes horrible. Reasonably priced for an airpirt drink but I am sorry, it just tastes horrible. I had a better experience at another cafe x. Maybe its just this one.
What a fun, new way to get a cup of coffee! Not only was my hot chocolate delicious, it was fun to watch the robot wave and dance and fulfill its barista duties.
Well this was a fun way to buy a coffee at San Francisco airport! Took a wander over to the Harvey Milk terminal and found this and of course had to get a coffee. Ordered a flat white (obvs - I’m a kiwi) and it was actually pretty good.
