Inklings is the best! They have the best service and coffee!
I first started coming here after being recommended by a friend for the caramel bourbon latte, it did not disappoint. My wife also is pretty picky about her simple coffee order of coffee with steamed half/half. She was also very happy and you know what they say, "happy wife, happy life."

This cafe is so quaint. Love the atmosphere, drink options, and plenty of outlets to do some work/study/even just to hangout if you are not feeling like spending time at your own home.
Located in Pleasanton downtown, with great view to appreciate the central street in downtown Pleasanton. A place not only offers great coffee but the venue to relax and refresh your mind.

Excellent experience, I was acknowledged as soon as I walked in even though the line went halfway around the bar. Great coffee, pastries and food. Tried the breakfast sandwich which comes on a Salt Craft English muffin (local bakery in Pleasanton). Inklings looks like a chill hangout to read a book or work on the laptop.

Coffee is ok. Vibes is pretty nice. The payment machine that suggested over 20% tips for a cup of coffee is quite a turn off. You are not serving a three course dinner here, most of the drinks are in take away cup. Should I still pay 20% tips? The expectation of tips is getting out of hand. What special services did I get?
If you're looking for a place to do some studying or to have a quick break then this is the place. However, the drinks are not it. No flavor and watered down from my experience. Staff was cool, vibe was right but the drinks were not it.

Inklings in Pleasanton, California is a great spot for coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating and outlets for laptops. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The coffee is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!
Anytime I need coffee in the area and want something local and different this is the place to go. Very nice staff and a cool funky kinda vibe in this place, they have cozy back rooms too for people staying a while to work.
Really cozy place to hang out and have coffee. The drinks taste great and the place looks great. Seating may be hard to find sometimes but it's still worth going to.
