What a beautiful place! It is extremely welcoming and the service was excellent! The ladies were more than happy to exchange an order my wife and I made in error and were super sweet to my daughter!

Great coffee drinks hot and cold.Had the avocado toast, it was very good, but VERY expensive! Very small menu, so don't expect a huge selection. Owners were very pleasant. They have big ice cream sundaes and some other Ice cream choices. Very quiet for the most part. Narrow parking area.

Visited fornthe first time. The young ladies behind the counter were great. Big smiles and very helpful with my questions. The coffees we got were tasty and the toast with avocado and blue cheese was excellent. Will definitely visit them again next time we're in the area.

New to Penn Valley and trying all the coffee shops. Oof to this one. If I wanted to pay this much for a drink that tastes as meh as I felt paying for it… I would have gone to Starbucks. Entirely overpriced. Find a different coffee shop.

The REAL Coffee....the REAL ice cream.....the REAL bagels...this little pretty place, clean as a whistle. WATCH OUT if you've got the munchies because you'll never get out of there.....and don't tell your friends!

Over priced. I asked for a medium and their medium was a small. I got toast with avocado and a medium "small" coffee that came out to 18 dollars. Their food options are not very good at all. Beautiful shop super cute but very overpriced and not very big potion for the price

This review is focused primarily on the coffee. Honey and Cream offers a beautiful atmosphere and oasis within Penn valley for coffee shop experiences. The menu is sufficient for coffee sides and I recommend any of the cookies to go along with your coffee. It’s also one of the only places in Penn valley that resembles anything that you might see in grass valley or Nevada city. It’s light, airy, and comfortable. The staff are friendly, informative, and patient. They express Christianity, but it’s subtle. They have not made any controversial statements and I haven’t seen them deny business/ service to anyone. The coffee is on the lighter roast side. I’ve had their darkest roast, and the pour overs-It still seems watered down. The coffee beans don’t brew well in a conventional coffee maker. Perhaps it would be better if you had an expresso machine. It’s best to go in the coffee shop and have them prepare. The sugar free options are limited but it’s delicious and done right. I like the ice coffee drinks the most and they do offer a keto option. It’s great to kick back after the dog park, the nursery, or farmers market.

Super cute coffee and ice cream shop. The peanut butter cup ice cream was outstanding. The woman who took my order was a doll - very friendly and welcoming. The café and bathroom were both spotless. Will definitely return!

This place caught my attention as I was driving towards Grass Valley and I just had to pop in. I’m so glad I did because it was super cute inside and the aromas were intoxicating! I ordered an iced oat milk vanilla latte. It was divine! The Baristas were very friendly and helpful. We talked about the cool tapestry on the wall handmade by the owners! There was a fresh ice cream delivery while I was there as well, which I will have to try next time I come through town!

Love this place! The ice cream is from Gunther’s which is a SACRAMENTO favorite. The coffee is great & the ambiance is A1. The owner chatted w/ me for a bit. He’s a family man like me so we related on more than a few levels. Definitely coming back

This is a quaint little coffee/ice cream shop which hosts a variety of things to eat and drink. The menu is simple and straight forward with a few items that stand out. The honey and cream toast is a fan favorite which balances the right amount of cream cheese and honey on thick delicious toast. Nice place to go if you are in the area and can find parking.
