Vic's has been around since the dawn of time! If you want a home cooked meal like meatloaf or open faced turkey sandwich, this is the place to go. The staff is always welcoming and personable. Makes you feel like you're going to mom's house for dinner. My kids also love eating here, the menu caters to children as well.

Street parking only. The place was clean and organized. The staff greeted me right away. She was very helpful and friendly. Love their spinach jalapeño omelet. The pastrami sandwich was somehow a little bit too greasy.

I honestly cannot believe that this happened to my family this morning. We were just done ordering our food when the woman who sat us at our table came over and asked me to take my 1 year old outside because they were being too noisy and disturbing other guests. I personally thought she was joking as our daughter wasn’t constantly being loud. (I’ve worked in the restaurant business and definitely have dealt with loud babies) never once would I ever ask that person to take their child outside. I even asked the tables next to us if we were disturbing them at all. All replied no. And even said “we’re grandparents, it isn’t bothering us” and they apologized and wished us a better day. Better believe we cancelled our food order immediately and left. Enjoyed COWGIRL CAFE. They were lovely and couldn’t believe what had happened to us as well. Will NOT be going back ever again and will continue to let others know of how RUDE they were to us.

Always great food and atmosphere! If you want superb tasting comfort food from a great small Diner feel..this is the place to go. I believe they're one of the oldest original restaurants left in Paso Robles.

Visited 24 July 2022 We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. There is a sign posted asking guests to wait to be seated. However, there were only a few people eating so we were told we could sit anywhere we want. We choose one of the boots against the wall. The waitstaff came over fairly quickly and took our drink menu. My friend ordered the Michalada and as the same waiter was making it, he was wiping his hands I. His clothes, no apron on, no kitchen towel or napkin. Yuck. The prices here are comparable to the other eateries in the area. I ordered from the Eggs & Such section. I got 2 eggs fried hard, with bacon, home fries (aka potatoes), and wheat toast - $10. I asked that the potatoes be done a little crispy to ensure they are fully cooked. Our food came out quickly and was hot. Everything was good except my potatoes seems like they were cooked prior then recooked. I did not enjoy them. I also had a cappuccino - $4.75, which was fairly good after adding sugar. Overall good but need better food preparation practices.

Nice, downhome cafe. Mediterranian omlette was delicious and well stuffed. The photo shows my take home with more than half the omlette and hash brown potatoes. Breakfast/dinner in the works. I will return here.
