First time here and so good. I was skeptical at first. I wasnt sure if the food was going to be good. There is a lot of space here. I grabbed a menu and sat down to decide what to order. A couple dishes caught my eye and I went with the empanadas. Wow! Very good and my wife went with the Cuban sandwich. They were amazing. We will go again and again to get that awesome experience again.
My grandson loved the Medianoche Sandwich with the Yuca Fries here, so here we came! I had the smaller plate offering of Cuban Black Beans over white rice, and it was very good!! They have a nice selection of goodies and lots of options for drinks. Nice people and a good cook!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Black beans was a bit too salty& spicy for me.otherwise tasty Yuca fries were great
I went onto Cubanissimo after being referred by the Hotel clerk at the Radisson. I was dying to have Cuban food and couldn't wait to get there. Unfortunately, it was a Monday night and there was not a single soul in the restaurant. That was a bad sign. From my experience, that is always an indication to run for the hills. But because the staff was nice. I stayed and ordered the main entree chicken dish, but was told I had to order the beans separately. That didn't make any sense. Beans should always come with the meal. The next thing that happened was the meal was brought out to me in 5 minutes, which means it was not cooked specifically for me, just re-heated from left overs. Because of the cold weather, the restaurant was freezing so it was hard to enjoy the ambiance. Although the background music was Cuban, I was unable to enjoy the vibe because there was no vibe. No one in the restaurant looked Cuban so what I experienced when I visited Cuba was missing. Even having a person of Latin American descent working in the restaurant would have given me a sense of connection to Cuba. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious, even though it was comprised of left overs. What I realized is that the food was not piping hot, which means it tasted like it was micro- waved. Despite that, the restaurant staff is very friendly, If you are dying to have good Cuban food, give it a try.
Had a delicious decafe hot latte this afternoon- nice young adults behind counter. Clean as a whistle inside!
If you wanna leave the mundane of Orcutt and feel like you're some place special. This is the place. Really nice staff can't wait to be back
Honestly everything was amazing you will never be disappointed with this place!
Nice alternative to Starbucks. Guava brownie was very nice.
Always fantastic, friendly, fast, and flavorful. I can't recommend this place enough! Thank you Cubanissimo for always making us feel safe and welcome in a time where we rarely feel either of those things. We love the food here; empanadas, puerco Frito, and pollo con papas are outstanding and always consistent. Staff is friendly and helpful. We look forward to coming here for years to come!
What can I say ... this is good homestyle cooking. 2 orders of the Yuca fries and extra crispy. Wow. Great sauce as well truly combo's together MMMM.
The food was very good. The portions could have been a little bigger but still very tasty. Update: went for their blended lemonades. The cups were filled an inch below the top of the 24 oz cup (it’s supposed to be a 24 oz drink). I called them out and the counter rep said it’s a recipe that calls for that amount. How do you advertise something, give something less and then try to justify it?
I ordered the Cubano sandwich with yuca fries. Overall good flavor on the traditional Cuban sandwich. I do wish it was pressed a bit more. On Cubans I’ve had before it’s pressed to where nothing falls out and everything is perfectly smushed together with the cheese anchoring the top ingredients. I felt like this sandwich fell apart too easily. I would get this item again but I’ve had better. I loved the yuca Fries (perfectly crispy) and the sauce that comes on the side was delicious. Dipping the fries and Cuban in the sauce definitely brought it all together for me. Overall would go back and try more things and they also have a selection of desserts that look good as well
This place was delicious. Everything we ordered was AMAZING! THE Cubano sandwich was to die for and my boys LOVED the tostones! My favorite is the beef picadillo and maduros! Yummy!!!
Had the Pollo plate which was worth the 5 hour drive, will bring my wife here soon. Black bean side was also delicious. They also suggested the pork plate. Have a nice little patio where Marley my meal mate also enjoyed some of the chicken. Savannah and her colleagues were very friendly, brought a water dish right away without being asked and followed up on the meal feedback 2x.
i love the iced white chocolate latte. I’m general all the cafes are good and well as the carne empanada
Karra, Cyrus and Kassie were Super friendly and Helpful! Loved the Harmonious greeting as we walked through the door. The coffee was excellent and the ambience was the Best. We're looking forward to returning for breakfast or lunch
Accidentally ordered the Café con leche, it was delicious but not what I was looking for. Went to order the correct drink, a Cortadito, intending to pay but the owner comped our new drinks. Great place to grab coffee and breakfast!
Anytime I’m in the Santa Maria area, I always make sure to stop by. The staff is so welcoming and the coffee is always delicious. I finally tried some of the savory pastries and they’re excellent. Love this place!
Super great place to get coffee and Cuban food! Super friendly with customers and a great atmosphere.
I don't know why I waited so long to try this place! I pass it all the time and tell myself I'm going to go in. So tonight was the night! And boy did it not disappoint!! The food is so good, the espresso was on point! I cannot wait to go back and try more. We tried maduros, tostones, croquetas and the Cuban sammy. Chef's kiss
