We were sent beans as a gift and the coffee is delicious! Bright, with a bit of complexity, and we love the story and ethos behind this brand. We’ll buy round two of beans soon!

The best coffee I have ever had! Coatl Coffee has a award winning cold brew that is amazing! I stop in the shop all the time. The service and coffee is always amazing!
Recommend the cold brew if you go into the cafe. It packs a punch but is still super smooth!
Tucked away behind Deiberto's and Exxon, Coatl Coffee is both a coffee shop and a roastery! They offer a variety of made-to-order lattes, cold brews, and other espresso beverages. I enjoyed the Mazapan latte, which had small bits of peanut in it. Absolutely delicious! This shop also offers pastries and bags of coffee beans. The baristas are super nice and the whole cafe has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This is a must-do if you're on this side of town and looking for a great cup of coffee.

The best coffee beans in town!!
We were first introduced to Coatl Coffee at the Thursday Sunset Market in Oceanside.. Louis and Dorian (the founders) are infectiously welcoming and let us know about their flagship location off of Mission. When coming in, they showed us the roasting process, roasting instruments, and varying coffee beans. They shared their stories from harvesting to roasting, competitions, and marketing. The whole experience with them was surreal. The coffee was amazing, ambience as unique, and people were infectiously positive. You can feel their passion and patience when spending just a couple of minutes with them in their space. I really wish Coatl the best and hope that they thrive as much we did when we had to leave. Hope to see them again soon!
