At 2pm, after a long hike, I was feeling thirsty and hungry. A bowl of Vietnamese rice noodles sounded really good. So I walked in and sat down as the only customer. There were two elderly ladies manning the shop. They were both at least trilingual (Cantonese, Vietnamese, and English) and English was clearly their least favorite. No matter... the seafood rice noodle soup (with a clear broth) was delicious and the ice coffee with condensed milk really hit the spot. All this for just $16 plus tips. Can't beat it in this economy!

Great restaurant and food. Had a party of six and wait time wasn't too long eventhough place was packed when we arrived there. Had the fried bird nest noodle. Noodles were crispy and vegetables blanched perfectly.

The Fish Ball and Fish Cake Fun is awesome. Start with just a little hot sauce. You never know how spicy the sauce can be (Hint: home made crazy hot sauce). It is all home made! You don’t need to go to sauna once you finish the hot soup mixed with chili sauce.

The food was not that great and it looked like it was regurgitated back into the bowl. The service is absolutely horrible. If you want good food go to Pho King down the road

Some of the quickest service in all of Oakland. Even if there is a wait, put your name down and you will be seated very quickly. The food is delicious and the portions are very big. I always get their signature dish. Chow Jew Ho Fun, which has a clear broth and combination of seafood and meat protein. Highly suggest it. If you are hungry go for the large as it only is a couple of dollars more. They offer you free hot tea when you sit down. The food comes very quickly after the order placement.

It's an old Oakland Chinatown restaurant serving great noodle dishes. I particularly like the Satay beef ho fun. They have one in the Pacific East mall in Richmond too, but the original is MUCH better, trust me.

Small place but excellent food. We had the chow jew ho fen, but you can customize it with egg noodles or mixed. We also ordered "dry" which has the soup on the side. The noodle is tasty even without the soup. The soup itself is great too.
