I believe customer service is very important in an establishments and truly draws the customers to come back. I came here for the first time on May 9th at 9AM. The cashier who was wearing a yellow hat and gray sweater was very rude, was making faces, and was not helpful as we asked questions or made modifications to the order because of our 1 year old. There were also no high chairs available for our son. Don’t recommend you come here if you want to eat breakfast. We ordered a burrito, sandwich, and avocado toast and it took 30 minutes plus with only 4 people in the place. Will not be returning
Love the coffee and food but their prices are on the pricier side, plus tip you’re looking at a $9 almond milk matcha 😬
Great coffee and delicious gluten free baked goods! (Note: probably not good for celiacs since GF baked goods are stored with regular baked goods)
One of the best lattes I've ever had! 12oz breve. The half n half doesn't seem average or typical.
There were a lot of reviews mentioning the unsanitary bathroom, but I decided to overlook that and try it anyway. Well when I went they did not have a bathroom for customers *at all*. This shop is not small, they serve food, they are free standing, and have no arrangement with another business to share their toilets. So how is this okay? I cancelled my order and the employee looked confused. Well come on! Don’t you know what coffee does? What are all these people supposed to do when it hits, this is not a to-go place where everyone is picking it up in the run, people sit here for a while. Not to mention washing hands. If a shop this size doesn’t give access to a restroom, they need to shut down until they do. That’s gross. 0 stars. I went to Amp right up the street, which had coffee, pastries, and a very clean bathroom. I would recommend them, or Horror Vibes. Or any other self respecting coffee shop where you can be hygienic and not suffer a bellyache.
Nice atmosphere. Good place to work.
The best caramel latte and the almond croissants in NOHO!
Excellent coffee , food and friendly staffs. Would definitely be back!
Cool trendy looking place. Great customer service. Coffee is okay, but thats coming from a non coffee drinker. Also theres only one restroom which is terrifying and outside basically open to the public. Lastly a BIG note for the owner, for people who have celiac please separate the Gluten free food from the non gluten free because people can get sick. Gluten free products should always be separated or packaged. THANKS
Nice place but no atmosphere, no music, dogs on tables, coffee very burned, the cashier asked me if i want it to go or for here but the food was in a box togo, no utensils no napkins nothing.... this is my first time and the last one, didn't want to complain about anything here but is little over priced for what you get here, unfortunately not coming back and I don't recommend it
Unique spacious historical spot. Delicious and fresh food and coffee with good service. Great for when you’re on the go or a nice long visit with a friend.
I loved the aesthetics of the place. Nice quick spot for some coffee, snacks, and study. Got their cold brew poured into my canteen. I would definitely come back just to read/study. The only thing is, it's by the metro station, so it's mostly for people who use the metro to commute and possibly stop by for something while they wait. They do have some outlets, too, which i do like for electronics. The staff was quick, friendly, and well dressed. A big plus for first impressions for any shop.
Second visit here in 9 years. I came in as a break from exploring the LA Metro. Good place for a break. I like the atmosphere. Real travelers venue.
Just another over priced coffee shop nothing really spectacular about this place
Great little place with a welcoming, warm atmosphere and wonderful staff. First time in and I’ll definitely be coming back as often as time allows.
Old noho train station. End or start of the redline. Great location.
Ya know.... The coffee is more sour than bitter. It tastes like it's been on the burner too long. Or it's a light blend but made WAY too strong. But not good. But hanging out there, even with a bad cup of coffee, is quite nice. Almost rustic, and very peaceful. The barrista didn't seem thrilled to be there. Nice enough, but rather be someplace else.
Best place to if you need water. Very freindly!
What a for here order looks like! Also bathroom situation is really poor… Building has huge potential but execution is sub par!
Worst experience ever, and I even gave them a second chance. You know how they say one rotten apple can spoil the whole batch? Beware of this situation. One particular barista's treatment of me as a customer was icy, basic and unappetizing, just like the Horchata iced coffee I ordered by mistake. Save your time and money, and go to a coffee place where customer service isn't such an imposition for the staff.
